Super Smash Burgh

I have been here twice after golfing at 3 Lakes and it has hit the spot every time! Both times the service has been great - the employees are nice, professional, personable, and fun! There is a bit of a longer wait time, since there is only one grill, but each time has been worth it! You order inside and you have a choice to wait for your order inside or outside. There is no indoor seating, but they do have covered outdoor seating. Both times I sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather and delicious burger. The burgers do need a bit more smashed, but other than that it is a delicious smashburger. I always get mine with everything on it, raw onions, and extra burgh sauce. That burgh sauce is so delicious! Each combo comes with a nice portion side of fries and your choice of a drink from the cooler. Super Smash is the perfect meal after smashing 18 holes of golf!

We found this place to be really good. The prices are hard to beat for what you get. A filling meal plus can of pop for under $11.. these days that's hard to beat. We're glad we live close to here because it's a good deal and freshly made to order. Staff was friendly and the food was tasty. Burgh sauce was tangy and delicious to dunk onion rings or fries in too. Well seasoned and juicy. Normal growing pains of a new business. I think they'd be well served to ditch a couple of the fryers and replace them with a larger flat top for higher volume days to help with the wait.

Excellent food overall!!! Friendly staff and loved the fresh cut fries and sweet buns. Take out was warm when I got home!!

Tried the super smash burger it was very good and flavorful I would definitely recommend getting the burgh sauce on your burger & great service

Not even trying to leave a bad review But every time I come in here I have to wait really long. Every time i try to be patience and understanding. If I order online and it says a time and for me to get my food almost 45 min after the time is crazy. Food is good that is on point. There times I go there they don't have fries. I just feel there could be a little bit more adjustment.

I just found this place tonight the service was excellent the people who served me my food were very friendly and courteous and attentive the food is delicious and they are one of the few places that are open past 8:00 in this area it's not traditional fast food I ordered the double Smashburger combo with onion rings the onion rings are huge and they are fried Golden Crisp and the Smashburger is cooked to Perfection with lots of flavor. I will definitely be going back there probably tonight

Great service ! I will say the burger didn't come with the toppings from the menu as said .. could use a little more flavor .. and maybe smashed a little bit more .. over all good burger .. everyone can definitely try this place out for themselves

I stopped in for lunch today on the way home from church. The owner was there and his personality is off the charts! I think the more and more people that find this place the better and better their business will be. It was great! I think next time I will get my burger as it comes and not with lettuce and tomato. I think it took away from some of the natural flavors. I ate the fries on the drive home. There must've been a ton in the bag because I was able to eat fries for a long time! The restaurant is located in an old car wash. If it wasn't so hot outside, I'm sure it would've been nice to sit and eat. It has some cool little character. Excited for their future and to have it again!

I stop by the nearby library pretty much weekly, and i can safely say that the place is great. The staff at Smash Burgh is very nice and accommodating, and though i never really met anyone else, I can safely assume that much of the staff is likely the same. In fact, it's gotten to the point that, whenever i leave the library to get my usual burger from the place, or otherwise head there from the bus, I can walk up to the counter, ask the lady for "The usual" as if it were something out of a sit com or the like, and she would know exactly what i wanted: A double patty burger with cheese and bacon, nothing else. They taste pretty good too, and while I'm personally not a sauce person, i usually horde the containers that come with my meal, to the point that i have a full pair of containers that my mother absolutely enjoys using. The fries are usually very tasty as well, nicely salted, and i always get an extra serving to have as a side dish for the next day. The wait can take a little, and sometimes, i swear that i heard my order being called up from outside, but then again, that's probably just me being flinchy. That said however, their outdoor seating area is a fairly nice place to hang out while you're waiting for your meal or otherwise planning to eat. Listening to the world go by while you're surfing the web or doing anything else to keep yourself occupied while you wait for your food is a nice experience. Their drinks cooler is also very well stocked and accommodating, which has certainly helped me out a few times during the wait. All in all, though, I can certainly recommend this place to anyone who happens to be in the Penn Hills area, be it for a bite to eat after some holes at the nearby golf course, or maybe a meal after a long sit in the air-conditioned library. Whatever the case, Super Smash Burgh gets my personal recommendation, especially for those looking for a little local flavor to spice up their life.

I stopped here on Monday for lunch at 12:30 after seeing some good reviews online. The inside of the restaurant is immediately alarming, it is tiny (which is fine), but it is DIRTY. They have only been open since June, and I don't think anything has been wiped down since. I thought to myself, I can get past that the reviews were good.The couple in front of me ordered, then I ordered, we were the only people there, we were told it would be about 15 minutes, perfectly reasonable. I ordered 2 of the smash-burgh combo, a double cheeseburger + fries + a can of soda for 11$ each, more than I like to spend on lunch but again reasonable for a small business. I went outside to wait, 15 minutes went by, 20, 25, 30!! minutes, the man from the counter pokes outside and says it should just be a few more minutes they "had an issue with the skillet". I did not leave with my food until 1:20... On my way out I heard the cook telling the man at the register they were out of buns, and they would need to turn off Uber eats.The food itself was hot/fresh, but honestly not great. The fries were really bland, the best way I could describe them would be 'cafeteria' fries? The burger itself was extremely greasy and not seasoned or seasoned VERY lightly, the bun was completely soaked through with grease, and the special sauce is just bloomin onion/sweet baby rays secret sauce.When I was leaving with my food the man at the counter did apologize for the delay again and said its not usually like that, but I'm really not sure I believe him. I really wanted to like this place, but I will not be going back.
