Sullivan's Steakhouse

Made a reservation on labor day at 8 pm and it was really empty which made it feel very special. We ordered the crab cake to start and oh man was it scrumptious. It was pretty small and came with some greenery. The wagyu and ribeye were great portions, I took some home for leftovers. They were seasoned well and definitely worth the money. Lastly, we had key lime pie for dessert and it was so delicious! The plate presentation was beautiful as well. Our server was so amazing and attentive. She was kind and was always available! She even took a picture for us and framed it in a black frame that said Sullivan's Steakhouse. We have it up in our living room!! That was such an exquisite experience and I've never had such amazing service in my life. The parking garage was underground in the building the restaurant is and we took an elevator up to the lobby. I'm pretty sure the parking garage was free!

We were here yesterday night for a private event. They have multiple private event spaces and we were in the room all the way in the back of the restaurant which was very spacious. Our servers were attentive and friendly. The cheesesteak eggrolls were delicious. I thought there was a little too much sweet chili glaze on the calamari which overpowered the flavor of the calamari itself. The lobster bisque was disappointing - I'm not sure if it was just this batch but it had a sour aftertaste and I couldn't finish it. I let our server know and he was very apologetic and said he'd let the kitchen know. The NY strip was absolutely enormous. The asparagus and mashed potatoes were good but the real standout was the three cheese mac. We really enjoyed our key lime pie and cheesecake desserts.

Good food and service but was a bit pricey for what it really is. The appetizers were great.We found at least 4 bottles of wine on the menu that were more than twice what you would pay AND find them at Sam's club for. Overall the atmosphere was fine and I'd eat here again.

very nice steakhouse in steel building downtown. Nice environment. Great staff. Fairly extensive menu. Especially enjoyed the tableside BLT salad with an outstanding Sweet Basil dressing. The other outstanding dish was the bacon appetizer. It comes out under a smoked glass dome. The tomatoes relish with it is incredible. Steak and seafood dishes are fairly standard as most steakhouses. Chocolate cake was quite dry unfortunately. Very easy to self park in the garage underneath.

Great food great service, would recommend for anyone looking to have a great dining experience dahntahn!!!

We went here for restaurant week. Well we were there on a Sunday afternoon and were told that the restaurant week menu was only good for the evening. Okay, fine we could order from the lunch menu, no problem. There were only two other tables seated when we got there and roughly three by the time we left, so the place was basically empty. Our server was new and we were fine with that but he was also pretty clueless. He would disappear for long periods of time. We never had our water refilled and we were there for over 3 hours...for lunch. I know it's not his fault that the service was slow but it was never acknowledged. We started with the cheesesteak egg rolls and sweet and spicy cauliflower. We actually wanted the spicy shrimp egg rolls too but they said they were out of them. Both appetizers were very good. Next came the salads, I had the wedge and my husband had the Caesar. They were both okay. Then we both had the Delmonico steak as our entree. I was a bit surprised when it came out because it was such a thin cut of meat. It was seasoned well but both of ours were overcooked. My husband had the roasted garlic parm frites with his steak - we tasted no garlic or parm, they were basic fries. I had the brussel sprouts. They were mostly shredded and soggy. My husband had a slice of key lime pie for dessert. My friend and I ordered a cappuccino. After waiting about 10 minutes, the waiter let us know that the machine was broken so we ordered Irish coffees instead. Overall the drinks were just okay, the appetizers were good, the salads were average, the entrees were well below average, the dessert was decent and the service was pretty below average. With all of the options for steakhouses in the city, I won't be heading to this one again.

Had a party of 3 go to Sullivan's for restaurant week, and boy, am I glad we did. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was great. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, and the Sully sauce was a delicious topping. The lemon sauce for the crab stuffed shrimp was also delicious. Our waitress (Amber, I think) recommended the cheesesteak rolls, which was a great bonus to the meal. Their homemade cheesecake was so smooth, and the bananas foster bread pudding was some of the best I've had. My only complaint is the shrimp and lobster bisque. It could use more flavor as it tasted like nothing but seafood and pepper. It was also curry like instead of bisque like. My boyfriend, who is not a fan of steakhouses, actually wants to go back. I think it was their delicious butter that convinced him, lol

Sullivans is a very pretty restaurant. We were invited to a private event to meet the new GM. They have good specials and a good happy hour. Nice bar and even seating outdoors in warm weather. Also live music in the bar a few nights. Service and food has been just average in the past for an expensive steak house but the new GM may tighten things up. Parking use to be free after 5PM with their validation. "Beware if you park in the garage" it will now cost you $30 to $40 after you had happy hour or dinner. They now have valet parking for $12. If you go valet park, park in a lot that offers discount rates after 4PM and walk or park on street. We will not be back due to the parking which was a nice perk as we do not like valet parking.

In the past, we have had nothing but great service and delicious food at Sullivans. Unfortunately, we went Sunday afternoon and it was sub par. We went specifically for restaurant week and were told we can't order from the menu because it is only for dinner. Most places on Sundays just serve from a dinner menu anyway, but we were told we had to order from the lunch menu. I ordered the jumbo stuffed shrimp. They were overpriced for what I got and there was nothing served with them so luckily I ordered a side or I would have still been hungry. The shrimp were way overcooked and the lump crab had no taste to it, just very bland. At dessert, I had an Irish coffee because they said the cappuccino machine was broken. The coffee was heavy on the whiskey, almost so much it was not enjoyable to drink. My husband and I are hoping it was just an off day because we have enjoyed coming here in the past.

Visit Sullivan's Steakhouse on 2/16 for my hubby's birthday. This restaurant has such a cozy and charming atmosphere, I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service and the food here is absolutely delicious. Try the brick herb chicken with a side of brussel sprouts...amazing!Our waitress Karissa was so attentive and professional, thank you Karissa, your hospitality will get us back at Sullivan's very soon.
