Stoney's Tacos and Burritos

We love Stoney's and frequent the restaurant whenever we get the chance. We like how it is fast casual but still has seating options. The owner is so kind and I feel like when you go to this restaurant you feel the love of the cooking. The food is seriously amazing especially considering it's just in the middle of Munhall. Every single thing we've gotten we've enjoyed and my only regret when going here is not trying more stuff off the menu! The portions are super large which helps considering the prices have been increasing

Solid spot for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other typical Mexican-American meals. The prices are very fair and the portions are pretty good too, depending on what you order. I tried quite a few of their items: a super quesadilla with birria (stewed beef), refried beans, and tres leches cake.The super quesadilla was just okay. They did include a large portion, but the taste of it was just a bit strange. The meat was good, and so was the cheese. However, they included some sort of mayonnaise like sauce (that definitely wasn't cheese) with it that didn't sit well with me. The beans were good. They give a generous portion. On the sides, the container was a bit crusty. However, the beans themselves were creamy and tasty. A good side.The tres leches cake was very, very good. The best thing I tried from this place. It was fluffy on the top and very creamy. Perfect sweetness and a nice portion. Would definitely recommend.All in all, a pretty decent Mexican spot. Quesadilla was a bit questionable, but if you do come here, you must get the tres leches.

Love small mom and pop places. Wow was this worth the stop. The Birria quesadilla was recommended. I'm glad she did! It was so good I got the soup to go for tomorrows lunch!

This is a four and a half star rating! Have had their food 3 different times and each time it was great! Their tacos are delicious the Al pastor and the Birria! The corn tortillas are grilled before assembled (yum). You get your choice of American or Mexican style toppings!! Sooo good! On the weekends you can get Pozole (soup) which is also flavorful! As mentioned elsewhere their salsa is hot and yummy! They also have Tamales (even chicken) very good !It's close, it's authentic and it's delicious!! Nothing fancy but very charming. The music that plays as you sit at one of the non presumptuous tables, just takes you away for a moment to somewhere else (and the artwork helps)! Hoping more people will give them a try!!

My husband and I typically cook 5-6 days a week. Last week on our day off we did takeout from Chipotle on the Waterfront. The chips were stale, and the food (chicken bowl) was tasteless. This week I decided to Google and try somewhere local which we selected Stoney's in Munhall. We ordered Guacamole with Chips, Birria Quesadillas, and a Burrito. The food was cooked with LOVE and seasoning but not salty. It was a far flavorful fresh experience than the week before. I support this business and hope that our community will as well. Thank you!

First timer and I will definitely be coming back. The service was prompt and friendly. The birria quesadilla, chips and salsa, and burritos were delicious! I'm looking forward to trying other items on the menu.

Love that this place is close to home. I honestly haven't had a better taco in Pittsburgh. Had the birria & Al pastor. Both were delicious!! Also I didn't ever think I could say this about any chips and salsa. But my goodness the chips were so authentic, thick, and crispy. They were wonderful. Just a fair warning the salsa is a bit spicy, but I loved it.

Great Mexican food in the middle of Munhall! Tostadas- Yes Tamales - Yes Birria tacos-Yes Guacamole-Yes Fresh chips and salsa - sometimes salsa can be hot, so watch out kids lol The list goes on all great food! Street parking is free. Good place to stop, sit, relax and grab good food!

My family and I decided that maybe they had a bad night the first time we ever ate here. That was about 2-3 years ago I think. I want you all to know that we are so happy we decided to give it another try The food is a little $$ however it is worth every penny. We now have ordered from there a bunch these past few months. I wish there was more of a dining area.

A Great addition to Main Street! Especially love the birria. Looking forward to trying the breakfast in the future.
