Visited Stoney Creek for the first time today and it was great! Walked right in and went to the counter and ordered a small bucket of balls for $5 - I believe it was 35 golf balls. You will be given a receipt that has a number at the bottom. You will need that number to get your balls from the machine. To get the balls, you go to the machine and place your empty bucket at the bottom and you enter the number, and all the balls will fall out into your bucket. A side note - I was told you have to bring your own golf clubs. I have a set, but want to include that here so no one is caught off guard. At the driving range you have one covered area and two open areas. See the picture to see a snippet of the area. I like that they had a sheet that listed the yardage of each flag. I honestly had a blast here - I just started golf and took my first lesson last month. It was great to come here and put all that I learned together. Definitely will be back here in the future!

Closed due to weather.. Again. Honestly, the last 3 or 4 times I've come nobody has been there.. My son was pretty disappointed and I'm sure yours will be too. I assume they'll be locking the doors for good soon which is unfortunate. Oh yea.. They have a pretty nice section that has a roof.. Ya know.. To protect you from inclement weather..It's a nice range.. But if there is rain in the forecast... It'll be closed when you arrive.

We love to visit Stoney Creek Golf Center. It is clean, has a well stocked pro shop and you can tell that they are reinvesting in the facility each year. They have a putt-putt course, covered and open air driving range and a putting green. The putting green could use a revamp, but the rest of the facilities are modern and well taken care of. The real gem of the operation is Josh, the PGA instructor. The facility has a private training hut where Josh gives lessons. My two sons (14, 12) and my father in law have taken lessons from Josh and they have learned a lot.

I like to support local businesses and have followed Gary through most of his career. Until this year. My wife bought me a golf lesson package. She paid Josh (the pretend golf instructor) $200 for 5 $40 lessons. Josh only credited the lesson card for $180. Then both Josh and Gary called my wife a liar over the $20 difference. My Son was standing next to his Mother and saw her pay Josh $200. My days of being a Customer there are over. The only reason I rated them 3 star is because of the driving range. In my opinion, Josh is a horrible golf instructor.

Closed due to weather. What's the point of the cover and heaters. Also, they close at 5. New owners changed the hours.

Not even one star. Worst mini golf course I have ever seen. Don't let the pics fool you, must have been from when they opened 20 years ago. This place is a dump.

I recently visited Stoney Creek Golf Center in Plum Boro. I received some of the best customer service I have ever received from a business. I had an old gift card for the prior golf ball dispensing machine. When I tried to use the card the counter attendant said that is was no longer usable. When I asked her if they could do anything so I did not lose the value on the card, she said not that she knew. I asked to speak with someone who could help me. She immediately got Justin to help me. He told me the card had not been used for a number of years. I told him I have been there and either forgot to bring the card or forgot have the card from time to time. I mentioned I would asked from time to time about using the card and was told to bring it in and the amount would be transferred to a new card. After everything was said and done. Justin honored the card for full value of the old card which he was not obligated to do. If is rare to find this kind of customer service from the top down. I am recommend everyone who enjoys golf and customer service to give this Stoney Creek Golf Center a try.
