Stonecrest Golf Course

Good golf course for the price, conditions are always consistent. Downside they do not serve alcohol and not sure if you can bring your own. Usually decently busy

Favorite course. Greens are always in great shape. I can't quite give it 5 stars, because its not all that difficult or special. I grew up near by, so its conventient and the staff is always friendly. I feel most comfortable playing here just because I know the course so well. If you're in the area, I definitely recommend giving Stonecrest a try, but it's not really worth driving over an hour for.

The course is in good shape after the harsh winter we all went through. The lay-out is so-so with few, if any, challenging holes. The staff is friendly, and the location, just a few minutes from the PA turnpike, is convenient. I play 4-5 times a year.

Awesome course, much much better shape than some other reviews stated. This is a great course for a double bogey golfer, nice wide open fairways for those who don't have perfect straight drives. Staff was nice, they wanted everyone to have a good time. If you live in Cranberry or north Boros of Pittsburgh it's a quick drive, looks farther on a map than it is. I'll be back often.

The price is really the only good thing about this course, but you pay for what you get for. There are gopher holes all over the course and Goose poop on the greens. Grass clumps from mowing all over and the cart trail needs a lot of work. One of the workers came out on the course to yell at my family for taking too long to golf. There was no one behind us and we weren't holding anyone up. It was very rude and uncalled for. We will not be going back.

Another straightforward course that doesn't pretend to be anything than a standard golf course. Some interesting terrain and design features make this the better course than Fox Run. Have not played here for quite awhile because of so many choices, but it's a good choice if you are in the area...once notable for having a beer tap in the clubhouse, but I think that's gone...they should give away free beer, they would need to put lights in for night golf to keep up with the demand.
