Went out for the Steelers game. It was a late game and I wasn't sure where to go due to freezing weather and a Saturday game. I figured every place would be packed. We got there and there was plenty of seats and plenty of tvs to catch the game on. Food was fast and delicious. Service was super friendly and attentive. Only drawback for game days is volume to hear what's going on in the game.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! They are either racist or homophobic!! My fiancé and I found this place, being our first time here in Pittsburgh. Came in for a drink and had the WORST EXPERIENCE! We felt like they kept an eye on us the entire time. Like they did not want us there. Even going to the bathroom felt awkward.... Despite waiting for the bathroom, I noticed they had a 2nd level. I asked one of the female servers nicely "oh, you guys have a second level?" To which I got responded "yes, it's closed! And there is no bar up there!" VERY RUDELY, WITH DISGUST AND WITH ATTITUDE! I continued to use the restroom and went back to the bar to close my tab. Once I asked for my tab with the blonde bartender, she seemed to also have an attitude... she threw my "tab receipt" to us.... to which I tried to ignore but my fiancé confirmed, she threw it to us.... We paid our tab and once we did... she still SNACHED our receipt and tip... this experience was so HORRIBLE and UNACCEPTABLE..... do better! #Lgbtq+ #international

I stopped in a couple weeks ago to have a nice cold IPA on a super hot day after showing my gf one of my favorite places in the city for the first time, the Duquesne incline observation deck. I always try to stop in here and enjoy a refreshment while on the hill checking out the views or before and/or after having dinner at one of the many great restaurants on Mt. Washington. It's a great little spot with good food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. The service wasn't that great on the day we went, but I get it the hill was packed with many wedding parties it seems and I know how those people can take a toll on you. Either way, I've had many great experiences here and I recommend it no matter what.

- Vibes: 4/5 (chill sports bar feel)- Crowd: 4/5 (bit empty on a thurs night)- Menu: 5/5 (tons of cocktail options, vast menu)- Value for price: 4/5 (not terribly expensive)Located across the street from the incline scenic overlook, this place is rustic and cute. Go sit on the second floor for a covered view of the city! We came on a Thursday night around 7:30p and it was quiet, but service was pretty quick. Good vibes for a casual first date or family dinner. The drinks menu boasts a ŵode variety of specialty cocktails. The cucumber gin drink was refreshing and relatively strong. Food wise, I'll give a recap of everything we tried:- Reuben pierogis: delicious (meat was GREAT), chewy, decadent. Amazing sauce.- Firecracker shrimp: very breaded- tasty, but not the best thing we had. Very sweet sauce, super crispy - Fried deviled eggs: the best thing we had. Crispy, rich, full of dill- Arugula/prosciutto pizza: yummy, amazing crust, on the cheesier/less saucy end of the pizza spectrum. A safe and yummy bet

This bar is close to the incline and is steps away from beautiful views of the city. Ambiance is full energy (between the chatter at the tables and loud music) but is expected for this type of establishment. Diverse craft beer menu and unique cocktails quench our thirst.Server was super friendly and attentive, and was very helpful. Our group of seven ordered loaded fries, pickle pizza, cheese pizza, spicy burger, Reuben sandwich and burrata cheese app. Everyone enjoyed their food and portion size was plentiful. I had the spicy inferno burger and it was great but I could take a lot more heat. My only complaint were the side fries came out limp and not hot and crispy. My favourite bite was the deviled eggs- they were deep fried I think and it was unexpectedly great.

Great place to enjoy the view from Mt Washington! First stop off the Duquesne Incline, did not disappoint. The upper level gives nice views and the bottom level offers a more cosmopolitan bar and people watching option. Although we took the Incline up and back saw a parking area close by. Customer service was excellent and the food delicious and interesting, cider on tap made for a pub like experience. Thank you!

Went for brunch when we were in Pittsburgh for the weekend and was absolutely blown away by the food and the view from upstairs. The servers were very friendly and helpful.

Oh geez I hate to leave a 3 star review but I gotta be real. I'm visiting Pittsburgh and my brother & his fiancé tell me they have exciting plans. I'm game. So we took the Incline up to Mount Washington and golly what a view! Pittsburgh is beautiful! Upon debarking we went across the street to Steel Mill Saloon. Our server, the lovely Lani with red haired ringlets, took our order. We opted for three appetizers:Deep fried deviled eggs, avocado bruschetta and reuben pierogies.Ok, the eggs were dry and weirdly fishy tasting. Also needed salt. The pierogies were okay and also needed salt which was unexpected due to the shaved corned beef that accompanied them. My favorite was the avocado bruschetta.Kind of full from the apps, I ordered a crock of French onion soup. What a let down. Needed salt & pepper, the cheese was barely melted, the onions were obviously not caramelized, just tossed in. Look, I know I'm not gonna get a bowl of French onion soup like a French restaurant at a place that serves bar food. Besides that, the second story view, our enjoyable server and being with my family, I'm not complaining. We had fun!

My fiancée and I came for dinner and I have to just say, WOW. From the staff, the ambiance right to the food. Everything was GREAT! They got us seated right away, even though we came without a reservation and gave us a table on their second floor with a breath taking view of the city. We got the Bavarian pretzel, which was massive. For entrees my fiancée got the steak tacos, which were flavorful and very tender. I got the pickle pizza that was loaded with bacon and pickle bits. Overall, everything was delicious and our server was incredibly attentive, I only wish I could remember her name! If you're in the area stop in, you won't regret it!
