Steel Grill 51

We went opening week and the food was so so but the mimosas were great. The bacon was the type you get in a microwaveable package. A bunch of us went after night shift a week later and went to order Mimosas and breakfast and was told, "We don't sell Mimosas or drinks". I pointed to the drink menu, on the table and let her know we ordered such last week. The manager with an apron on then came out and berated me asking me, "Who gave you a mimosa last week?! NO ONE gave you one HERE!"It was demeaning and rude. None of us will ever go back and we'll tell others why. We miss the Blue Flame who always treated us kindly.

Service was fine. Typical diner ambiance. Food (breakfast) was eh. Though they apparently make espresso drinks, the standard coffee was very weak.

The only good thing was the pancakes every thing else taste like paper I would not go there there's a hour wait every day

I went here for breakfast with 2 friends. It was our first time there and I liked it and plan to go back. It is very large and was clean. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was good. We plan to go back for a neighborhood lunch bunch.

Worst customer service ever went to get a table for six in my group went in alone water at the desk for maybe 5 minutes no one waited on me couple girls by the soda machine talking , no one helped me I will never revoked or go to this shit hole

Went for a late breakfast Monday. It was steady, not busy. There were several open booths and table when we arrived. There was a couple waiting and we were told it would be a 15 minute wait. After 15 minute wait we were sat at a booth that was open and clean when we walked in. Ordered coffee. My husband requested milk for his coffee. Ended up using the creamer on the table because she never brought the milk and we couldn't get her attention. Every time she walked close to us she never looked our way. When she finally came back to check on us and fill our empty coffee cups we asked for the milk again. She brought it this time. We asked how much longer. She said that it shouldn't be much longer everything has been coming up quick today we're not that busy. I'm glad we didn't go on a busy day. Then when we got our food I only got half of mine. They ran out of biscuits. I had to wait to get the other half. Tried it won't go back.

We've been anxiously waiting for the former Blue Flame Restaurant to reopen under the name Steel Grill 51 all summer and were delighted to see it open this past week. We decided to visit for breakfast this morning and were NOT disappointed! We were a party of seven including three children. They were pretty busy and the wait was about 20 minutes. Once seated, the menu offered a wide variety of breakfast options. Our orders were taken and found our drinks delivered right away. As it was fairly packed the kitchen was a little behind but in an effort to assist, the children were offered small strawberry smoothies to tide them over. It's been said that all good things are worth waiting for. This meal was worth waiting for. A variety of breakfast plates at the table were enjoyed by all. Eggs, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and toast were all delicious. I never found my coffee cup empty and was well impressed with the quality of service as well as the food. Daily hours are 6:30-2:00. I recommend you find your way to Route 51 in Jefferson Hills for some quality diner fare!

Wagner's $8.75Eat N Park $7.99Service was good at all three placesSteel Grill counter was to busy of a place with servers constantly in front off you cleaning up dishes and putting there stuff on the counter in front of you.

I know it is new and they are still learning, but the service was horrible. My omelette was completely wrong. The hashbrowns are those frozen ones -- the same ones that McDonald serves. The server forgot to bring my toast and it took her forever to come back and by the time I asked for it, my omelette was cold. I would never go back. It was not very busy when I was there.
