Small, intimate venue which is both BYOB & BYOF. Not a bad seat in the entire place, and the sound system is great. Cups & napkins available for your food & beverage items you bring inside. You can purchase beer & soda on the honor system for a small fee from a fridge in the back of the room. Showcases great local bands & talent and music performances supporting those with special needs and/or on autism spectrum. Definitely worth checking out. It's hard to see from Rt 8 & easy to miss the turn in. Located in small plaza just before Bruster's Ice Cream.

Wow, what an amazing place! Being a south hills girl, this spot was a little out of the way for me. When my friend told me he was performing here there was no way I was missing it. The people here are great. Everyone is very friendly, and open to new people being here to support talented musicians. The venue is so great. Very small, intimate space. Tons of room for standing and sitting, about 20 tables. This place is BYOB, and bring your own food and snacks. How cool is that?? There is an aldi nearby and we stopped there right before the show to bring our snacks. Entry "fee" is only $10 per person. Yes, Really! How awesome is that! For $10 you get a killer show, no byob or corking fee.

First time checking out this newer music venue and I was excited to see what it would be like. I was beyond pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't hesitate to check out another show here. The whole night was a great experience.I went on Friday night to see Bill Deasy perform his annual Live By Request show. Bill always puts on a wonderful show, whether solo or with his band Gathering Field. I highly recommend checking him out if you ever get the chance, but especially at Steamworks Creative. This venue is small, only holds 50 people. However this allows for an intimate show experience like no other. Unlike a lot of other venues there are enough seats for everyone, which I greatly appreciate. You may want to get there early though to get your choice of seat and get all settled in and ready for the show.Steamworks Creative emphasizes that they are a listening room. I LOVE this. They have a sign about not using your phone or talking during the show. They also make an announcement before the show asking everyone to please turn off their cell phones. I have gotten upset at other venues because phone use and loud chatter distracted from the performers. That was not the case here. People seemed very respectful of the performer, as well as their fellow concert goers. What a nice change of pace from many other venues.Steamworks Creative is BYOB and BYOF. They do have pop and water for sale. My Mom and I packed a bottle of wine and some cheese and crackers and we definitely weren't the only ones. For me I enjoy being able to do this.I have not attended one but I loved hearing how they host acoustic open mic nights for those on the autism spectrum.I have been to countless music venues in many different cities. I would put Steamworks Creative up there with my favorites. It's just so nice to be able to truly enjoy an intimate show without any unnecessary noise or distractions. Great job Steamworks Creative. I look forward to attending another show here.

Super fun and chill place for parties. Great sound and set up for instruments and mics. Cozy but still kicks.

I knew a band that was playing here, so came out to see them. I had no idea what to expect at a strip mall. But what a pleasant surprise! The space was set up well. Small cover charge was well worth it. The sound was also good. Liked the ability to BYOB. Great place! Will be back .

First visit last night. House was full. John Vento and friends entertained. Venue is both BYOB and BYOF -- $10 cover but when you figure out that it is BYO.... very inexpensive compared to the bar scene. Acoustic and minimally amp's acoustic. One could actually hear folk. This is a music appreciation venue. Not a band somewhere in the background on a juke box. They have many bookings already by area named folk. Suggest looking into this new, alternative entertainment venue.
