Squatch Brewing

This is based off an initial visit and we tend to give places a few chances.This isn't a bad drive for us and we loved the idea of having a brewery closer. They seem have events like live music and trivia so you can always check to see what is happening.It was nice weather (summer) when we went and fairly busy outside but not as busy inside. We grabbed a few seats at the bar which tends to be our preference. They don't have a huge taplist but at least have some variety to it. I ordered the pumpkin ale which came with a cinnamon rim. It was okay but not one I would seek out. I also tried my fiancés lager and it was again, okay. Service was ok but I appreciate when a bartender will chat a bit and offer recommendations, etc.Just a note is that when we were there there was a fair amount of kids running around and playing and definitely seemed more of a family atmosphere. That probably varies a bit based on the time you go but it is something to be aware of.

We enjoyed the drinks, specially the seasonal pumpkin beer and cider. The tables are very close together and tight to walk between when the large garage doors are closed, but when they're open it feels more spacious.

Grade: incomplete (can't give 5 stars, but also can't give 1 star either)Stopped by on a hot August Friday. Easy to find in a small industrial park, with just enough parking, and a nice food truck out front for the night. Stopped in briefly, but could not stay; while they advertise as dog-friendly, it should be understood that the dogs have to say outside. On a hot day, with outdoor seating on a hot parking lot and no shade, we could not stay. Definitely worth another try, but I would have to think twice (and be aware of the weather) before deciding if I go alone or take my dog along.

Stopped by since we were in there area. GREAT, fun Squatchy atmosphere. Fun talking to the people at the bar. Good beer and Arsenal cider on tap also!
