Spanky's

Good ol dive bar with dive bar food. Local crowd mixed with college kids from St Francis.

RJ brought me to Spanky's because he used to hang out here in college. It appears to be the same decor as back then. But the bartender was super friendly, the burgers were good and juicy, and the fried zucchini was delicious.

Stopped here for lunch before heading home from a college visit. Definitely a local hangout. We were welcomed when we came in and our service was good. I had the cheeseburger. I liked having the option of selecting my toppings. It was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. My son had the Spanky's wings with mild sauce. He thoroughly enjoyed them. We split a "small" basket of fries. I loved them. They were fresh, hot and cooked exactly the way I like them. The dining area keeps this from a 5 rating. It can use a major update. I sank into the bench and had to scootch around to find a comfortable place to sit.

The food is immaculate, tastes like a slice of heaven . The bartender laura is so sweet,paitent, kind,funny. She was paitent with my elderly mom who is hard of hearing. The bathrooms are beautiful. They were small but nice. The skills machines were easy win.
