Always stop in here during business trips!! Wonderful whiskey and beers!! Had the spicy buddha bowl with salmon!!! May have found my most favorite dish, like ever!! You should try the Reese Peanut Butter whiskey!! Was not expecting what I got OMG!! Just happened to be in town on "delivery day" and took 2 bottles home with me!!The pumpkin beer is amazing, pro tip!! Get the rim!!!

Can't believe this was my 1st time to Southern Tier. We have enjoyed many of their beers at home or out. The Food, Beer Atmosphere & Service were all wonderful!For a busy Saturday night with multiple parties going on we were never rushed & our food came out quickly & hot. Look forward to coming back in the spring to enjoy the outdoors.For some reason originally- my food photos did not load. Just added them today 12/16/24

Love the atmosphere always able to handle our mini work happy hour. Service is always good and recommendations are usually spot on. I have enjoyed the appetizers I've gotten. Hoping to try something new this time.

I've been here many times and I am part of their loyalty club. If you join, you will get discounts around the year in your email. Great place to visit when you're in the city for a sporting event or otherwise. There is sometimes live music in the courtyard and big long games to play.The beer is a wide variety and you can grab some to go. The food options are really delicious, with unique recipes and something to suit everybody's flavor.

Great overall experience at the Southern Tier Brewery.Excellent location just blocks from the Allegheny/Ohio Rivers and the lovely scenic waterway.Great environment with both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor area includes a beer-garden style space with lots of picnic-style benches. Lovely for when it gets warmer during the spring, summer and fall months. Wide assortment of beer as expected. Prices were fair, averaging about $6-8 per beer depending on the type. Had a few beers...all of which were good.Daily specials available including half-price appetizer Tuesdays! I had the pulled-pork nachos which were a bit underwhelming...kind of just threw some things, including cold pulled-pork, on top of nachos...not the best. I hope to return to try some other food options...as some others looked good.Staff were all awesome. Bartenders were very attentive, efficient and friendly.Hope to return when I am in the area again.

Oof, do people of Pittsburg know how lucky they are?!we live outside Baltimore, where once Southern Tier specialty brews are released it is a race to the beer store to find, hoard, & enjoy, but here....in this fantastic environment there are endless brews to be enjoyed (&whhaaa??! at $5 happy hour pour prices)i honestly expected it to be way more expensive, way more chaotically crowded with waits & more touristy vibe (being right next to the stadium)- but the place was such a "welcome to Pittsburg pull up a chair grab a beer & did we just become best friends" vibeample indoor & outdoor seating options & staff were absolutely fantastic; very quick but also attentive; even knowing what I wanted to order they asked if I wanted to sample anything before I decide (yass)we opted for the special PGH IPA pours- loving the profile of both with robust juicy characteristics & varying levels of dankness & creaminessa fantastic pre-gaming spotagain, do people of Pittsburg know how lucky they are?!

Upon entering we were greeted quickly and seated outside. Such a beautiful outdoor area but very noisy from the highway traffic! Our waitress was fantastic and super sweet. They were running out of a ton of things due to an event...glasses, liquor, etc. I thought the food was excellent- I got the carne asada tacos and the beef was super tender. The caramel pumking was out of this world but the old fashioned was a bit wacky!

First timer review. Southern Tier is located in the north shore between PNC park and Heinz Field (sorry - it will always be Heinz to me). Street parking but stadium lot are around if you go on a busier night. Our waitress seemed a little annoyed at first but was very friendly by the time we got our beers and ordered some apps - hey everyone has a bad min/day right. She kept coming around to make sure we were ok which we appreciated.First - check out there web site .. they have fun activities they do .. puzzle night- bar bingo ( which is what we wanted to do but go cancelled - still had a nice night)! It was a Tuesday .. 1/2 price app night .. so we got Raspberry ales, jalepeno popper dip (so forgot pic) and pulled pork nachos. Beer was outstanding and hit the spot. Food was good.. came out quick! Def plan on going back.

Southern Tier is awesome. Anytime I'm down in the north shore, I make sure to pay a visit.Went here during Picklesburgh. Got the fried pickle burger with a side of fries and several beers. Burger was great. Beers were cold. Vibes were up. Service was great even with a million people hanging out. 10/10 spot.

Stopping for a drink and a bite to eat is a must when down in the city! We have always had fantastic service at the bar and Jackie takes great care of us! One of the classiest bars on the North Shore!
