Let me start with food & atmosphere were great. The servers were friendly & and attentive, always a full coffee mug & told us all about the restaurant. The reason I gave 3 stars ( which was hard for me to not give 4) was due to the slow kitchen & our parts of our order coming out over a 15-20 min span after waiting almost 45 min. ( which we kind of expected). If you like fresh, amazing tasting food and have time for leisurely time to dine, I would highly recommend checking them out. I am sure we will be back.

If your breakfast takeout order includes a pizza box, don't be alarmed. Your GIGANTIC pancake will be inside. That thing is ridiculously big. So big that three of us shared it. They give you minimal butter & maple syrup to go on that behemoth so if you're the type of pancake eater that loves rivers of butter & syrup, you may want to ask for more. The Omelet was huge too. A three egg pillowy cushion of eggs stuffed with big chunks of ham, cheese, peppers and onions. It was super delicious. The side of home fries was really fantastic too. The pickup process on a very busy Saturday morning was painful. Staff running here and there to wait on tables, clean them and deliver bills. It was chaotic and took 15 minutes to pay even though our order was stacked on the counter. If you dine in, you'll have lots of fun decor to enjoy while you await your plate of breakfast delights.

We went to this restaurant 2x before yesterday. I always liked the setting; it's a nice family restaurant with good breakfast. We were there yesterday, and we were really hungry. We waited for 2 hours before they brought the food. Once they finally bought it, the hash browns were white (ie had not been cooked), and they forgot to add strawberries on the side, which we had ordered. Waiting 2 hours for uncooked food that has missing sides is pretty unacceptable. We will not go again.

Very nice find for breakfast. Unique and welcoming, we enjoyed our meal. Service was great and food was awesome. There is lots to look at and reminisce about inside the restaurant. I would definitely go back if I were in the area.

Great service- was crazy busy but the girls didn't miss a beat! My food came out first and we waited awhile for my husbands but they took mine back to reheat so it worked out great!

Three words to describe South Greensburg Restaurant: cozy, spotless, pancake. Yes, that's pancake, singular. My husband wanted to share a breakfast platter with his mom and asked our waitress how big the pancakes were - he didn't know if he should order two or three. She smiled and said "big" then proceeded to hold out her arms in a wide circle. She said it would feed four people. Always up for a challenge, my husband, MIL AND BIL decided to all share the Lumberjack Breakfast. They were first served a large platter full of eggs, bacon, a big pile of fresh home fries and toast. Trip two brought the PANCAKE. This was the biggest pancake I have ever seen. It was full of blueberries and served with butter and real maple syrup. The three of them ate all they could and still took home a to-go box. (In fact, three of us had pancake again for breakfast this morning and there is still some left for tomorrow). For around $10, you can't find a better bargain!I veered a little and had the meatloaf sandwich. A large piece of homemade meatloaf between two slices of Texas toast and a huge pile of mashed potatoes under an extremely generous pouring of brown gravy. It was good, not amazing, and I brought home more than I ate. This too was around $10. There were only two waitresses for the whole place yet service was impeccable. They were both smiling the whole time as they chatted with regulars and strangers alike. The restaurant itself was equally as inviting and the whole place was absolutely spotless. We've been visiting Greensburg for over 30 years and only now stumbled upon this hidden little gem. I sure wish we had found it sooner!

I am not a very fussy eater. That being said, the food was a mixed bag. The pancakes were ok, just a bit dry. The eggs were good. The hash browns were soggy and tasted like hotdog water. The bacon was decent, far too salty though. I don't know what to compare the sausage patties to...flavor was strange, alongside being overcooked. Also, I don't mind a wait and I don't generally care if staff is friendly or not. I received my dish 15-20 min before my wife did. That's a bit much. The environment was comfortable though. Do not recommend overall.Didn't affect my scoring, but did not appreciate Fox News/Trump TV running. Keep politics out of breakfast.
