Somma Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar

This is a place we eat at when we are visiting my mom in Oakmont! The food here is always good as is the service! The last time we came here I tried something new-the steak salad! It was outstanding! I'm still thinking about it! They have a special type of homemade ranch dressing-that really sets it apart!! My husband and mom each had a hamburger. They were huge! And outstanding as well!!

We went out on a snowy adventure for some good food and by golly we found out. We have passed Somma so many times when the place is packed to the gills and there's not an open spot to find and wanted to try it for so long. We finally did. The service was fantastic and we got lucky they weren't busy. The pizza was tasty and light and fresh. The Reuben my wife went crazy over and even got to swap out her marble rye for white but it was packed with meat. PACKED! She said it was the second best one she's ever had. She loved it. I had the chicken Parm sandwich and my oh my it was delicious. Sauce (same as on pizza) is a little sour on flavor side but the chicken appeared hand tenderized and hammered and hand breaded. It was so good! Fries were ok but could have been better. Shoestring so kind of hard but did I pickup vinegar on them? Was tasty for that being so. Overall I would recommend going here. The ambience is very sports bar set and so if you're a sports fan you'll love this look. It's decent enough it's ok even if you don't. They are lovers of sports and that's cool!

Always great food and service. Great sports bar area. Also nice it has a restaurant style as well to bring the family

Husband had Cuban and I had the meatball. Both were excellent. The meatball was huge. Brought half home for tomorrow.

THIS PLACE SLAPS! My favorite beer on tap, the smokehouse chicken Sandwhich is huge and amazing for a great price, fries are crispy, coleslaw is good, ranch is excellent, and our service was fast and great. I don't have a single bad thing to say. Great sports bar.

Nice spot on the road between Oakmont and New Kensington...seated quickly, a pleasant bartender took our drink and food orders. The white pizza with spinach (with added anchovies!) eaten there was delish...and the take out hot Italian hogie and pepperoni pizza was wolfed down by the lad at home. My date enjoyed her dirty martini and my raspberry iced tea was great. Nice spot to stop. Try it!

Lots to choose from on the menu. It was crowded but still good service. Excellent food.

Dinner was really good tonight. Pizza was perfect, half plain half pepperoni. The kids loved the Italian hoagie & Fries I do think they should have added a little more meat it was very thin, good but thin. I liked the loaded steak & cheese. Highly recommend and we will return !

I have been here twice since a bad take out experience 2 years ago. Both times it was pretty good. The staff is very friendly and service was good as well. They have a pretty big menu. Their ranch is probably the thing that stands out most about this place. Prices are reasonable. Worth a visit.

Good family atmosphere. Small game room for kids, great pizza, and clean, comfortable dining space.
