Soergel's Orchards offers a service called "Soergel's Essentials" and I tell everyone about this delicious, affordable and helpful experience. For definitely less than half the price of going to the grocery to buy everything you would need, you get 3 bags of different meals for 4 and a host of other staples including their fresh apple cider and a bag of their famous apples. First, you choose three meals from a "menu" of options. These options are different each Tuesday and Friday. The choices include something for everyone! These are quality meals with fresh and local ingredients. There are choicesIn every category- beef, pork, chicken and seafood. Some of our favorites include "Cheeseburger meatloaf and mashed potatoes", "Seared Ahi Tuna Steak with coconut and ginger rice."(includes fresh ginger and a delicious wasabi aioli) and a baked, pickle-brined chicken with roasted fresh vegetables. In separate bags ( paper, of course) you get every ingredient, portioned just right ( no waste) and a recipe card, to create each of these delicious meals in your own kitchen. In addition to all of this, you get in-season berries, bread ( Mancini's), local eggs, milk, vegetables and onion, and a dessert!! ( did I mention their freshly-made apple cider and a bag of apples? Yum! )Finally, you drive up, they open your hatch and put all of this in the back of your car -you just drive away! I need to add that their customer service is awesome. I've had a few issues ( totally my mistakes) and they have been so accommodating. This is TRULY a family owned and operated farm, down to every detail. Do yourself and your family a favor and try " Soergel's Essentials." You won't be sorry!

Word on the street is, this place is a bananas in the afternoon festival hours. Our morning visit was smooth and lovely. I know we were missing out on a lot of offerings but there was still plenty to see and do - farm animal petting area, playscape for kids, Apple Store and bakery, pumpkins galore, etc. My three year old's review: "What were your favorite parts?" Answer: "the playground with the excavators, the train playhouse, and the pirate ship."The bakery was filled with whoopie pies, apple dumplings, cookies and pies. In the end, we left with pumpkins, cider, apples and a variety of cookies.

We have been coming to Soergels for the last four years and have loved our experience each time and it has become a family tradition for us to pick apples in the fall and then make a homemade apple pie. Pro-tip if this is a new place for you--park up at orchard hill church during the fall festival to get you closer to the apples and have less hills. (We only go to Soergels for the apple picking in the fall as we don't love big crowds. Parking at orchard hill is ideal if you are just wanting to pick apples and maybe pumpkins. If you are planning to do everything at the festival, it doesn't really matter where you park, you will be walking up and down a big hill haha!) We have also come to Soergels for story time with our two toddlers and have come to pick blueberries as well! Each time is a positive experience and our kids love to play on all the playground equipment as well. The petting zoo is fun, the food from the cafe is good and the little supermarket also has a lot of great items and baked goods for the season. Soergels has a lot to offer, just realize that it is busy, but worth your time :)

Love Soergel's fall festival! We visited on a Saturday morning right as they opened and they were already super busy. I have to say, they really have the crowd/parking management down pat. Be prepared to walk as it's pretty hill-y. They have a ton of kids activities - hayride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, straw maze, pumpkin painting, bouncy houses, and so much more. There are a ton of food options too, including Arsenal Cider, Boyd & Blair, and Penn Brewery pop ups. Expensive? Yes. But worth it for a once a year festival!

My favorite annual pumpkin patch and fall festival outing! Soergels always impresses me with the variety of fall fun-- Apple picking, coffee and cider donuts, alcohol tasting, kids activities, local vendors, and many pumpkins everywhere! I love shopping in the store while I'm there, as well as trying all of the food options. This year, I had zucchini fries and sweet potato tots. YUM! I'm always impressed with the parking situation and how there are always a ton of people, but it never feels too crowded.

Soergel's is a classic. We visit every year for the Fall Festival and come by more regularly on weekends for the donuts and other treats. The Fall Festival is a classic farm festival and lot of fun but incredibly crowded. This year more than ever! It is a bit pricey with each ticket costing $1/each to ride or participate in the activities, so we aim to do the stuff the big stuff like the tractor ride. You can take the tractor or walk the farm to the apple orchard or pumpkin patch. Each area has its own farm stand that you can pay for apples and pumpkins. There's rides and activities for the kids, and of course don't forget about the tiny town area. We love to come by when picking things up or stopping by Arsenal cider and have the kids play.If you're looking to visit for the Fall Festival, come EARLY! Or stop by when it's not the festival for a great more relaxed visit.

Soergel's really surprised me today. I wasn't expecting such a massive farm, market and grocery store, but there was so much to do and see and I was really blown away. There were hundreds of pumpkins to choose from, fresh flowers you could pick yourself, apple cider donuts, arsenal cider and so much more. There were a ton of really cute photo opportunities too. We had a really lovely time!

Soergel's is a gem of a farm and greenhouse, as well as seasonal pumpkin patch and apple orchard! They hold their annual Fall Fest in the autumn season with plenty of food vendors and decorations and activities for visitors of all ages. I love the ability to pop around between hard cider tastings (thank you, Arsenal!), fresh donuts, cheese curds, varied apple orchards, pumpkin patch photo ops, hayrides, and more! There are lots of things to do to suit all who visit. I've been going to Soergel's since I was a child, so perhaps nostalgia plays into it, but I don't know a cuter market for homemade jams, local produce, and hot cider. I also like to visit year-round for Perry's ice cream and wonderful baked goods (such good pies!) beyond just the autumn season. Pro-tip, if visiting for Fall Fest, go RIGHT when they open in the morning so that you aren't stuck in a long line at the highway exit or stuck parking in an inconvenient spot. It can get super crowded!

Went for fall fest and it was so fun! Had cider, hot dogs, enjoyed the tractor ride, and painted pumpkins. I'm sure it's fun year round, but had a great time!
