Smithmyer's Superette

Smithmyer's is the most amazing little suprette! Top quality meats at reasonable prices, good produce (though not the cheapest by any means). Plus, they carry Vale Wood Farms products and excellent locally-produced eggs of all different colors. Where else can you find all this in our area? And their super friendly service is second to none!

By far, the most customer-centered grocery/deli I've seen in my entire life. Their meat selection and bundles are awesome and the service is beyond compare. Jay, Frank, and all of the Smithmyer's staff are just good people. Worth the trip to Loretto!

Incredible throw back to what local businesses are to there communities. Grab and go food, best butcher, and quality selection over quantity. If you like bacon you must try their double smoked thick cut bacon! Best bacon I've ever had. Look for weekly deals on their site. I found an incredible deal on a ground beef and steak package, that feed an army.

I can't rave enough about this place. Incredible made to order food which puts Sheetz to shame, and an amazing staff. You can get anything from fresh cut t-bone steak from the back, tooth paste, or a movie rental! This place is seriously amazing.

This was my favorite place to shop for meats and produce. Now there is a new owner and a big turnover in staff and it seems to be going down hill. They use to carry out your groceries for you but now they don't. The new people behind the meat counter are not as knowledgeable as the others were. The good thing is that Frank is still there...if he leaves I don't where I'll shop for meat. It's a shame cause this new owner was handed a gold mine and quickly chasing away loyal customers. Come back Jay and Lois and give this new kid some lessons on small town business.
