Best meat burguer I've tried so far! People are down to earth, nice, and very cozy environment. I recommend the pulled pork sandwich if you come here. 10/10 would come again

I had no idea what to expect when my friend's band played the Slippery Rock Golf Club on a cold March Friday night. It's way out there, if you're not from the area & your GPS will take you on a scenic winding road, country detour which is OK in daylight but a nightmare in the pitch dark on the way home. This review is based solely on the clubhouse bar/restaurant, not on the golf course itself. The building is non-descript on the outside, but fairly nice inside with a large bar, dining area, middle room with pool table & back banquet room that looks like a regular basic wedding reception room (essentially what I imagine it's used for)...which is where the band played. There is no actual stage. It was quite busy on a Friday night and the two bartenders were slightly overwhelmed and doing their best to take care of the customers. They actually have a pretty big menu with lots of choices, and I had the fish and chips which was good-a very large piece of fried fish. The Miller Lite on draft was cheap at three dollars a pint. The band had a decent crowd in the back room, mostly older folks, so it was a little strange like playing to an old people's wedding reception, but it worked out & was fun. They look like they have a nice patio attached to the restaurant that overlooks the golf course that will be nice once the weather warms up. If my friends play here again I would stop by but not living in the area doubtful that I will be back until then. Having said that if you live in the area definitely worth a looksee and looks like a decent place to eat or sit at the bar. They have a one of the largest screen TV's I've seen in a bar. The bartenders were friendly despite how busy they were.

Our "Go To" place. Great food and Staff. We ate outside on a back porch overlooking the beautiful Golf Course. I had the Fish and Chips, Hubby had Fish Sandwich. The fish was lightly breaded and crisply fried. French Fries were crispy and yummy! The coleslaw was really good and the side salad really full of good things. Tonight we are doing Take Out Burgers. Very juicy and nicely cooked.

We picked this course because of its proximity to Pittsburgh as we were on are way to a Steelers game, a hidden gem , the course is in immaculate shape with great views. We played the white tees because of the rain when we started and we were challenged, this will be on our list the next time we are in the area.

It was so nice to enjoy dinner outside on their lovely porch overlooking the golf course. Our server was very attentive and had a great personality. Food was good and the beer was cold. Owner came over and introduced himself and thanked is very coming out. We definitely be back.

We are part time residents of Slipperyrock Pa. Monday is our night out to eat. The entire area is not a Mecca of fine dining nor is there a plethora of decent restaurants within a 30 minute drive. Therefore we frequent the few decent restaurants quite often and after awhile it becomes the same meal over and over. Boring! Recently friends recommended the restaurant at the golf club. New ownership by local residents has led to a promise of a better golf experience as well as a reopening of the restaurant. So we have visited the place the last two Mondays. The restaurant and bar are quite nice but not usually busy on Monday nights. Our bartender was also our server and both times they were polite and attentive. The menu is small but has a decent choice of sandwiches, salads and a few entrees. We have had a wrap, a salad, chicken wings and a dinner entree on our visits. I give the food a B rating. The wine gets a B rating as well. However the lack of more than one craft beer selection rates a c- on the draft beer spectrum. I know there is room for improvement but during the pandemic the golf club and restaurant are doing an admirable job. I hope people will come out and patronize this fine venue in the Slipperyrock area.
