Absolutely love this place! A little piece of heaven! All meals are homemade and fresh! You can get meals from the hot bar for what's on the menu that day or premade meals to go! Load up because they're super cheap too! I got stuffed tilapia with sweet potato and asparagus, a salad, and fresh chocolate chip cake for less than $12! There are so many meals to go to choose from! Fresh meals, salads, desserts, cookies, soups and so much more! Most meals are $6. You can eat there or grab and go. Staff is beyond friendly and make you feel so welcome! It's very cozy inside and you just want to stay and keep coming back! Also very clean too!! There are shopping carts so you can stock up on meals and even freeze them for later! Love this gem of a place! Healthy and delicious!!!

I had heard a lot about Simplified Meals by Ginger, so I stopped out to grab some breakfasts and lunches to stock at work the other day. What I think is really cool is that the food is all homemade and put into ready-to-eat portioned meals that you can stash in your freezer. 3-4 minutes in the microwave and bam - you have lunch!I started with two of the chilled ham & egg bakes - cooked with cheese and cherry tomatoes. They warmed perfectly and were a great instant hot breakfast. For lunch I picked up the frozen Greek Chicken. It was portioned with potatoes and asparagus. Even after the quick zap in the microwave the chicken was still soft and tender. Dessert was Tiramisu - just plain yum.At about $4-$6 each, it was a delicious meal that didn't taste like it came out of a frozen box from a factory. You know that taste - it always looks so good on the box but ends up tasting like the box. It tasted like real food. The concept is perfect for busy working people or students at the local University. I was so excited I went on to their website and pre-ordered 10 meals (about $60). When ordered online you can customize the sides - make that brown rice instead of potatoes, or whipped cauliflower instead of broccoli. There are also plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. You can also order to get a full family meal instead of a single portion. I am thinking their lasagna would be perfect for dinner some night. They do serve hot food that you can also take out - and soup. There is a microwave inside if you wanted to heat and eat right away. There are a couple of tables outside that you can eat at, but nothing inside, which is an issue for the winter months.

Oh my. This is not what I needed. All I wanted was something overpriced and bland or horrible so that I could move on with my life. I got the Mac and cheese, because it's going to be kind of runny and they'll use some gross orange cheese-like concoction developed during the war, right?! Welp, nobody told Ginger. That Mac and cheese was way, way better than it should've been. And then they sprinkled some shredded cheese over the top, just like I was going to do when I got home. What is with these evil people? I'll tell you what's with these evil buggers... they're working at getting you addicted. They've got hot food, they've got frozen food to take home, they've got Salted Caramel Lattes! EVIL!Oh, and I was leaving the counter, the girl, who could tell that I was vulnerable, decided to really ramp things up and told me that they have breakfast sandwiches. I think the meals are all $6, which considering the quality is good for any quantity, but they fill up the container, so they're obviously pretty sadistic and don't give a damn about yours or my diet.

Chicken was pink and looked like mush. It's ok for $6 what can you expect. Especially in the middle of no-where, PA.

Amazing! The prices at this restaurant are incredibly affordable, and the quality parallels that of a much pricier meal. The meals are nicely organized, and there is a wide variety of delicious foods. The cod Mac and cheese is really good, as are the chicken parm, popcorn chicken bowl, and chicken teriyaki. I haven't tried any others, but I am sure they are equally wonderful.
