This place is incredible. My friend and I first split a warm, homemade baguette with butter. It was delightful. I had ordered a salmon, but it came cooked differently than I expected. I decided to eat some of it nonetheless as this was not their fault. When the waitress asked me how I liked my meal, I said it was good out of courtesy, but she could tell it was not my favorite. She decided to allow me to try another dish for free: the lobster quiche. This has to be the most scrumptious quiche I have ever eaten in my life. The eggs were incredibly silky, and it was paired with an arugula salad. I devoured it so quickly that I did not have time for photos! My friend and I finished off our meals strong with a unique, seasonal dessert. We got a brownie dusted with powdered sugar and topped with pepitas. It was served with creme brûlée orange slices and a surprisingly tasty butternut squash ice cream. This is one of my favorite desserts that I have had, and all the unique pairings came wonderfully together. Heads up: this place has a rotating menu, so what you see online might not be up to date in terms of their offerings!Other notes: the service is very attentive, and there is a warm ambiance. Also, they give you each a free glass of champagne upon seating!! 5 stars all around!

On a quest to find elevated dining in Pittsburgh, my partner and I decided to make a stop at Siempre Algo. East Ohio street has become known for delicious elevated eats, and Siempre Algo does a great job in contributing to that reputation. We split the latkes and I got scallops. The latke was pretty tasty although a little over fried for my tastes. The scallops were melt in your mouth delicious and I highly recommend when they are back on the menu. Services and ambiance were also both great. Everyone was inviting and warm!

What an amazing little place in the heart of the Northside business district on East Ohio Street. We were greeted promptly as we walked in. There's a nice, spacious bar to the left and a dining area on the right. All of the servers and bartenders were super friendly and helpful, but Erin (our server) was hands down part of what made our first time here so enjoyable. The way she described the plates to us and recommended menu items, we joked that we wanted one of everything because she was so impressive with her knowledge of the menu. We had the pretzel bites and fondue app, the duck breast and the ribeye, with the hummingbird cake and brownie for dessert and we loved every last bite of each.

Another gem right down the street from our Airbnb. Managed to get a last minute reservation and was glad we did. Service was great and so was the food. Fennel ice cream is not something I would have expected to like but was such a unique flavor for the affogato. Our meals were both great, we shared fish and meat. We would definitely come back.

The restaurant is cozy and quaint with soft lighting. Perfect for a date night. We were greeted with glasses of champagne and started with the focaccia. My husband had the king salmon, which was very good. I had the surf and turf, scallops and short rib. I loved it. We also split whipped mash potatoes. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

This place was such a good choice for our random dinner the other day. The interior is smaller but intimate and warm. Great cocktails, food and service. You are greeted and given welcome bubblies. We ordered a few cocktails all excellent and tastey. We got the duck and the pork belly. The duck was amazing cooked perfectly and all the components to the dish were delicious and an experience. Pork belly was my fav crispy fat just like the duck what more could you ask for. Dessert: all of them sounded so good we took a while to pick something. We had the dark chocolate brownie with butternut squash ice cream. Omg omg so good it wasn't sickening sweet. It was like so balanced. Worth a try and will be coming back to try more dishes

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Small and cozy place - perfect for date night. The staff was great and I got the sense that everyone takes pride in their work. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne and the waitress gave us a run down of the menu. We ordered the tempura shrimp and duo of pate with demi baguette to start followed by the lamb and scallop entrees. The pacing of the food was perfect and everything was described to us as it was placed on the table. Everything tasted as amazing as it looked. Can't wait to visit again!

Siempre Algo is a high end experience from beginning to end. The space is on the smaller side but is cozy. Service is very attentive. I appreciated the welcome bubbles. I was very thankful that the menu was clearly labeled with allergens and many items were gluten free. It is always nice to not have to make concessions for gluten sensitivity. The gluten free focaccia was just as good as the real thing and the latkes had great flavor. The lamb entree was flavorful and a great potion. The earl gray affogato dessert was very unique and memorable. We look forward to returning to try new items - looks like the menu is seasonal.

An absolute gem of a restaurant on East Ohio St! I recently visited for the first time for my birthday and could not have asked for a more lovely meal. I'd only previously been inside for drinks and an app at the bar, so I knew that it was cozy and elegant, but full dining experience really blew me away. The complimentary blanc de blanc sparkling wine and little touches (birthday candle in my dessert!) went above and beyond. We ate the tuna tartare, duo of pâté, grilled quail, confit duck leg, pistachio cake with lemon ice cream, and bourbon sea salt ice cream with shortbread. Everything was INCREDIBLY delicious! The drinks were also wonderful and creative, and they complimented our meal beautifully. I cannot wait to return!

What a hidden gem! In the heart of the Northside, Siempre Algo is nestled on Ohio Street amongst a few other outstanding restaurants BUT Siempre Algo is something special! Each meal starts out with a complimentary Sauvignon Blanc, which is a special and unique touch that foreshadows an amazing meal! Our waiter was super helpful, attentive, and friendly. He engaged in conversation and affirmed our meal choices!Everything on the menu is unique, some being out of my comfort zone but still very accessible if you don't have an adventurous palette! Here's what we tried:[Baba Ganoush]: I've never had this dish, but it won't be my last. It was refreshing and tasty![Beet Salad]: This salad was unique. It contained sunchokes, which I've never had before![Quiche]: This quiche was so decadent and flavorful. It was my favorite part of the meal![Pork Belly]: My husband LOVED his pork belly. It was tender and full of flavor![Dessert]: I can't remember what our dessert was as it's not on the menu anymore, but it was dense and delicious and perfectly paired with grapefruit!I cannot wait to go back this restaurant. The atmosphere is cozy. The food is exceptional. The service is spot on! You won't regret making a stop here!
