I stopped by Sidehack BBQ looking for a quick lunch, and I discovered a hidden gem that I will definitely be returning to. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with their original house BBQ sauce. It was amazing! The pork was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the deliciously tangy and sweet sauce. They also have a spicy sauce that I did not try. The vibe at Sidehack BBQ is very bare bones, reminiscent of a mom-and-pop type business. While there's no indoor seating, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff more than make up for it. The service was impressively fast - my food was ready in just a few minutes. Although I didn't try the ice cream this time, it's definitely on my list for the next visit. Overall, a fantastic experience with great food and excellent service. Highly recommended!

My husband and I often wish we had better barbecue north of Pittsburgh. He stumbled upon this place near Evans city and we decided to give it a try. We tried sidehack for the first time this past weekend and were not disappointed!! What a great spot in the area! I called and ordered ahead ~15 min away, and was able to quickly walk in and pick up our order. The woman on the phone said you could also just order when you walk in if you prefer which is nice. The building itself is small but perfect for its purpose with plenty of parking. I don't think it had indoor seating though, but there were picnic tables outside under a pavilion for when the weather is nice. We ordered two 2 meat plates, one with brisket and pulled pork and one with brisket and Kelbasi. The brisket was phenomenal!!! Delicious. The kelbasi was also awesome. The pulled pork was also good but we will get the brisket and Kelbasi next time for sure. You get the option of original or spicy bbq sauce, and we got some of both and they were very good. Not too much vinegar more of a sweet style. We also tried a variety of sides including the corn, mac n cheese, baked beans and potato salad. All very very good. We tried a meat lollipop and spark plug appetizers too and they were also very tasty. Each meal came with buttered Texas toast which was a nice addition. We got huge servings for a reasonable price. They also have ice cream to purchase which is a nice convenient option for dessert. Also the person who took our order and payment was very kind and the man who brought out our food nice and neatly packed and bagged (possibly the owner?) was also very nice. Great service. We will definitely be back soon!
