Shoo Shoo's Wooden Spoon Breakfast & Bakery

I'm sitting here at this wonderful little cafe that only serves breakfast. I walked in and was greeted by the smell of homemade cinnamon rolls. Yes! They make everything from scratch here! It's a busy place especially on Saturdays. Lots of regulars. They serve coffee from a local coffee shop called Hallowed Grounds. Love the name! And this is a small cranberry juice! I ordered the sausage biscuits and gravy. Yummy!! They serve pumpkin pancakes but you better come early if you want them. It's 9:30 and they're sold out!

I have been here 3 times and every time has been fantastic. The service is great, the portions are good size and I always feel welcome. I have had several different items on the menu and all have been good. I'm so happy I found this cute breakfast place!

Three golfers searching for a good breakfast place before a round of golf - found this place on yelp.The place was highly rated and we all agreed that that reputation was very well deserved.Service was excellent, and the meals came out plated to impress. The meals were reasonably priced and the portions were generous.I had every intention to post a pic of the menu since I was unable to find one when we searched for the venue. I also regretted not taking a pic of my meat omelet before I cut into it.We have every intention of returning the next time we golf beaver valley. I hope to update this review then with some pics.Thanks for living up to your ratings!

This hidden gem was a great find. We didn't get to try any of the baked goods (all sold out except 1 lonely brownie). The breakfast menu was larger than expected for such a wee place (around 15 tables or so). I asked what the most ordered item was and the waitress said blueberry pancakes. I'm not much of a pancake person, so I went with the fried chicken scrambler. Fried chicken, potatoes, (I added onions), cheese (lots!) all mixed together. Yummy! I ate the whole thing, which is quite unusual. Crispy and buttery tasting. There seemed to be lots of "regulars" -a good sign, and they were very friendly to newcomers. Prices were better than most! We'll be going back.

I consider myself a breakfast connoisseur and love finding tucked away joints like this place so it was right up my alley. The first thing I'll say is I have no idea how they get it this cheap, my meal was a bargain and make no mistake the food was delicious and far surpassed my expectations when I originally saw the price. The servers were very polite and attentive to all the tables in the restaurant, I will certainly come back again.

Their breakfast foods are amazing and definitely hit the spot!!! It's also decorated really nicely...

Clean & friendly atmosphere. Good home cooked food. Lovely little place! Can't wait to visit again wish we would've found it sooner.

Wonderful breakfast . Waitresses were on top of their game. Awesome country style food. Plenty of nearby parking. You definitely don't want to miss this little gem!

Great breakfast this morning and couldn't resist sharing a piece of their delicious strawberry pie with my husband before breakfast! Fabulous with their Hallowed Grounds coffee. We had to go because my husband loves their tots. They even have sweet potato ones!

I was surprised that this little "blink and you'll miss it place" was even here, seemingly wedged into a little corner next to a bar.At first glance, I was expecting a couple tables and a counter with a few stools. I was wrong. The place is larger and more comfortable than I expected. The parking lot is very small however which is important for me because I am disabled and off-site parking can be a challenge for me. I cannot speak to the other parking unfortunately, as I am also a self-centered narcissist.I was delighted to see a few unusual items on the menu for a typical breakfast spot including the addition of fried chicken to the usual array of breakfast meats. My breakfast was good, though the fried chicken was less than what I'd hoped for on this trip. I was hoping for a real specialty but this was a bit bland and overcooked. I'll try again though. Maybe with waffles next time.The place was very clean and the people seemed great and welcoming, which for me is saying something as I tend to come off as awkward and creepy. I guess I should try to fix that before criticizing someone's chicken, huh.I'll be back and will take pictures next time.
