Shogun Japanese Steak House

Very nice selection of sushi and rolls. The atmosphere is clean and the staff is friendly. They have a teppanyali grill which is great for entertaining a group. They also have a nice variety of beer.

Finally, a good affordable place to eat! Everything was fresh and delicious. We have traveled all across this beautiful country, and it's often hard to find good sushi. This place is fantastic, we highly recommend it. Service and ambiance were welcoming and clean.

Food was delicious! Very good portions at the hibachi grill too. Only issue that occurred, while we were waiting for our party to arrive, I chose to sit on the coffee table. I made sure it was sturdy enough as based on way the cloth seat cushions looked, you can see why I didn't want to sit there. I was then approached by a hostess to find another seat because they used that table as the "To Go" order table. After moving, I shortly realized that was certainly not the to go table, and there was another specific table for to go orders. The table had napkins, utensils, etc. I don't appreciate dishonesty from anyone. If she wanted me to move, just ask. And maybe provide clean spots for people to sit while they are waiting.

Atmosphere is horrible who wants to sit beside I mean right beside somebody while you eat then have to person cooking throw food at you and then spray sake at you this place is Terrible then they try to kill me with wash water in my cup I'm still dry heaving after all that they charge you for everything little thing so unless you like to have a food fight and dish water in your cup and pay premium prices for mediocre food I'd stay away from here believe me I will not be back

Waitress need to allow people to order the food they want. Telling people you can't have that you have to have this

Service was quick and friendly. Their lunch specials are pretty good. The teriyaki shrimp bento box with fried rice was very tasty. The only thing I didn't like was the California roll that comes with it, but the gyoza, fried rice, and shrimp were good.

I would give this 4.5 stars minimum after my first visit. However, it was so good after the first time that we took the entire family the second. We almost asked for the same chef, Wigan, (May not be spelled correctly) ,who was the chef the first time. He was awesome and his food was perfect! Beat steak I have had in a long time. However we did not ask for the same chef and apparently the chef makes the difference completely for your experience here. Not only was the chef, the second time, less interactive but the food was not near as good. The fried rice almost had no flavor at all and the steak was not completely cut up like it was supposed to be. A few other food taste issues.The consistency is not there and so I give it 3 stars.

I got the hardest but chewiest crab rangoons with almost no filling for $7.50 I honestly get better ones from local Chinese places their crab rangoons are actually good I'd never order the ones I got from here again. Nice presentation but I didn't like the food personally it tasted like it was cooked in teriyaki sauce from the store my son loves hibachi but would not eat any of the food after trying it so personally I don't feel we will be back unless it's for sushi the sushi is way good here in my opinion but I don't care for the hibachi, deserts, or appetizers I've gotten any time I've tried here. I love the clear soup that usually comes with the meal and the ginger dressing on the salad.

Was seated right away. Was very empty for dinner. We had a large party for my sons birthday but was still placed with another family. I kind of understand that they was saving room for more people but seeing as there was only one other table being used I would've like to have been placed with just all of our family so we could've enjoyed the occasion a bit more personally I guess you could say. The other table did look like they have were having a better time with their chef but ours wasn't too terrible. The other family was nice and did get in on the birthday celebration. Food was good.
