Shenot Farm was founded by the Shenot family in the 1800s. Generations of family members raised animals and grew produce. Today, family members grow vegetables such as corn and fruits such as apples. According to the family's website, they use both conventional and organic farming practices. On the farm's website, I also read that throughout the year, Shenot Farm offers events such as hayrides; pick-your-own flowers, apples, and pumpkins; and pumpkin-smashes. In the autumn they sell flowers, pumpkins, cornstalks, Thanksgiving turkeys, and fruit baskets, and in the winter they sell Christmas trees and wreaths. On a Saturday, my husband and I visited this farm's market to browse their foods. We parked our vehicle in their free parking lot. Inside the market, we saw foods such as lettuce, cabbage, green beans, brussels sprouts, beets, plums, sausages, chicken meats, eggs, milk, cheeses, apple ciders, cookies, pies, fudges, popcorns, jams, bread loaves, bagels, seasonings, sauces and dressings, salsas, applesauces, syrups, dessert mixes, granolas, teas, honeys, ice creams, etcetera! We also saw some non-food items such as candles and t-shirts.I selected an orange-colored "cheddar" cauliflower head, apple crisp mix, caramel-apple-pie fudge, and jars of banana butter, strawberry jelly, and apple butter. My husband and I had not previously eaten a few of the unique products, so we felt excited to try them.At the checkout counter, an employee promptly greeted us, accurately rang up our purchase, carefully bagged our foods, and thanked us. Each food cost roughly several dollars.

So fun! This farm is a great family-friendly place to go! It is perfect for both little and big kids. Our family did the hayride. We were provided with a delicious apple that we could eat on the hay ride. They were so good we went to the market to purchase the exact apples they gave us. Overall, I recommend this farm 100%!

This was our second year in a row at Shenot Farm for pumpkin picking. There was a larger selection of pumpkins last year but we did go a weekend earlier. They were bringing pumpkin over in a box from another section of the farm, then placing them on the ground. So there was still a lot of pre-cut pumpkins to choose from. The cost to walk up to the patch is $2 and the hay ride is $5 I believe. The store has a great selection of fresh produce, desserts, and some meat options. We love Shenot Farms!

I've only done the haunted ride and it was really cool. The people were so friendly I don't remember if it was scary but I don't think I would have brought the children. I just remember how happy everyone was to be there.

Cute little family run farm. It's not like the other massive farms around the area, but honestly that's not a bad thing. If you want to avoid the chaos and want something simpler with all the typical farm attributes, this is your place. They have their own little fall activities with hay ride, pick your own pumpkins and ample seasonal items in the market. They have fresh produce and also make their own fudge! I'm not a huge fudge fan, but there's so many varieties, you don't have to get the riches chocolate out there. There's tons of different flavors to choose from. They also have a cheese and deli counter, fresh meats and a variety of local goods like honey, coffee (from Curly Tail Coffee!) and much more. Basically, it's small but all the great farm essentials are there!

Quieter and calmer than seorgels. We prefer the simple hayride to the pumpkin patch. Everyone was really sweet.

I have often passed this farm market when it was located on Rt 910 but today decided to drive over for a visit. You get a cart from the outside and go inside a beautiful decked out store with some of the freshest foods and dairy found. There's even a section for fudge if you are so inclined with a host of different flavors.Today they were having a special on corn on the cob so I picked up a few ears to make at home. In addition I got a perfect head of cauliflower and a squash. I glanced at the cheese counter. Looked tempting but I still have a lot of cheese to devour from another venue. The meat looked very good. The popcorn they sold was to die for! They have an array of jams, spreads, cookies, candy, and baked breads. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. You can get most anything here a lot of which is made right on the farm. They are open year round. They carry your popular seasonal items during their peak season. In the fall they offer hayrides for kids, and they sell Christmas trees, wreaths and fruit baskets in Nov. Makes a nice side trip when passing through the Wexford area.
