I stopped in, not realizing they were closed on Mondays, and the owner was working to prep the shop for opening for the week restocking, etc. and he was so kind ... I was searching for something to drink (I was out on my motorcycle door-dashing and it was hot and I got thirsty), and he gave me a complimentary cold drink. And we struck up a nice conversation ... such a nice man. I will be back to shop sometime in the future (but not on a Monday) ... Cheers (Shaanti)!!!

Yesterday impulsively we visited this store. Found it to be organised and we'll stocked. The best part was that the owner was very courteous and helpfull which made it easy to make the right choices. The prices are displayed on all merchandise so we can make informed purchase. Surely I will visit again

They have limited grocery. A bit on the pricey side. Ex: $3.99 for a small bag of green chillies; $5.99 for a small bag of okra. 2 types of basmati rice. A lot of spice boxes and masalas, etc. They have a lot of frozen items and snacks if that's what you're looking for.

Given Greentree & Banksville's high population of southern Asians there are quite a few Indian markets in the area and Shanthi is a good one. Very helpful people work here, answering any questions you may have about an ingredient or even how to cook a particular dish. Good supply of fresh produce too, including Japanese eggplant which to me is the best to work with as it is less seedy than its plumper American cousin. Shanthi also has that wonderful Indian bread that's so fluffy and flavorful. Great supply of Chutneys, marmalades, spices, and everything you need to get your Indian cooking fix at home.

This a small cozy store but would have almost everything you need for indian cooking needs. The people here are very helpful and courteous. They also give good suggestions about what's the best product to buy. A great thing about this store is that everything is decently priced. I have been to couple of famous indian stores and have found the same stuff at exorbitant prices there. I came across this store accidently when I was at another place nearby. They would do a lot better if they promote themselves on yelp by "indian store" rather than "international store". Right now I find indian grocery stores on yelp and this store doesn't come up!

You have to be very careful when shopping here. I got a packaged snack yesterday 1st July and noticed the best before date to be April 2015 after going home. Just trashed it.

I would rather drive a long distance to come to this Store than go to Indian stores closer to me, prices are much cheaper compared to others, place is very clean and organized, owners are very friendly and respectable, they even help bring the grocery to your car, if there were more than 5 stars I would give them more
