Shanghai Tokyo Restaurant & Sushi Bar

My friend and I were on a search for boba milk tea and saw a sign that this place had it. We walked in and seated quickly. We both ordered a boba - I had the honeydew and it was very good; creamy with lots of flavor, and the tapioca pearls tasted fresh. Our server was nice and attentive and there was low calming music playing. Sesame chicken: delicious, Firecracker chicken- spicy: my friend said the spice level did not disappoint. Also their egg rolls are HUGE and very fresh ingredients! Very good food and if we're in the area again, we will return.

Did take-out here twice last week. The chicken with garlic was just ok.However they missed one entree and someone had to go back and get it. Second time had sesame chicken, it was extremely tough and stringy. Not impressed at all.

After days of junk food on our trip we decided to find somewhere with real food to eat and landed on Shanghai Tokyo -- and it was great! They have a good mix of Chinese, Japanese, and Sushi. Everything was very high quality and up to par with what I'd expect from a quality sushi place. I was also impressed with how many soup options they had. I didn't experience any issues with the staff as some other reviews mentioned, I felt like everyone was nice enough. I never know what to expect the inside of a restaurant to look like when it's in a strip mall and was pleasantly surprised on what I found. It's very nice and well decorated inside, very relaxing and calm atmosphere. As far as cost goes it's not a cheap meal - but - what I would expect when ordering well made sushi. I wasn't shocked by the cost. All & all I'd highly recommend it, I could see us going back next time we're in PA.

My shrimp, pork and chicken lo mein Lacked chicken and pork .Basically paid for a bowl of noodles. My food came out way before the other two people in my party. It took very long for them to bring the check and then to come pick up the payment. Finally ended up going to the exit to pay the bill.

Our go to restaurant for Chinese/Japanese food!Their bubble tea is yummy! (Mango and black tea!) they have the popping bubbles and the tapioca bubbles! Sushi is yummy! My girls love the Sarver Roll w/cream cheese! And chicken and broccoli is better than anywhere else I've had it! We come here very frequently!!Staff is always super kind to us!

I was really curious to see what this restaurant would do when Osaka came to town. They haven't changed or elevated anything. The food is decent, the staff isn't nice or friendly, the inside is dark and worn, and you are charged a fee when ordering online...I don't feel like I get the quality food I used to for the price you pay they could do better. Don't think I'll be back.

Watch out Yelp, I am giving this place 4.2 stars. That's right, not 4, not five, because I'm a rebel, lol. I have eaten here 3 times. On one occasion, I was VERY pleased. The food and service were perfect. The other two times I was pleased and found everything satisfactory. The ambiance is better than most local Asian restaurants, but I don't think I would call it upscale, maybe "up casual." I told you, I was a rebel... ;)

Always reliable to get a good meal. Never a bad experience whether eat in or carry out.Whether sushi, Thai or Chinese never disappoints

Ordered 2 Gen Tso chicken to go. $40. It's not worth the money anymore. The chicken had tough gristle in it, and the flavoring and spices just are not what they used to be. The flavor and quality of the food has come down over the last 2 years with the cost going up. I'm willing to pay $20 a plate, but it HAS to be worth it. You can't just slap it together with cheap cuts and watered down seasoning. The broccoli was raw. If you're not going to steam it, don't add it to the plate. One less place around here to eat at.

Very good food, service and atmosphere. Prices a little above average, but well worth it
