Beautiful park!! It allows dogs to be off leash. People also ride their horses here. Several trails in the woods that are well kept. My favorite part is the huge field near the Halloway Rd entrance to the park. The grass is always cut in the field so you can lay down a blanket for a picnic or play with your dog. This may be one of my favorite parks in Pittsburgh. Only thing that sucks is I didn't see any public restrooms? Unless I missed them.

A beautiful park with great trails, birds and diverse vegetation. Some of the trails are frequented by horses, so stay alert on the trails. A park map is available on the website. The waterfall trail is one of my favorites, although be prepared for some mud.

Sewickley Heights Borough Park is beautiful. We walked our dogs there this morning and it was magical. We saw a variety of mushrooms, some rare ones to boot. Deadman's Fingers and Ghost Pipe were some of my favorites. We saw a few people riding horses and some wonderful dogs. The trails are, for the most part, well kept and quite stunning. I think you should stop reading this and visit this gem. Be sure to snap a picture of the map at the entrance to the trails. There are many trails and it would be easy to get confused.

Call spot. Tough to find because there are a bunch of detour. Signs up. When we went, you could take Fern Road all the way to the park despite all of the detour signs. It looks like the detour affected the road past where the park entrance was.Definitely dog friendly, and a relatively easy trail to follow for like a half a circle, and a big open area.
