Sewickley Confectionery

Sewickley Confectionary sells treats such as ice creams, gelatos, sundaes, milkshakes, and slush puppies. They even sell Leona's lactose-free products.During my visit, the display cases contained ice cream flavors such as black raspberry, peanut butter, coconut, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate chip, coffee, mint chip, cookie dough, butter pecan, banana cream pie, moose tracks, etcetera. The employee promptly and politely scooped ice cream for my husband and me, and she accurately charged us. I had ordered a cup of caramel praline turtle ice cream, and my husband had ordered a hot fudge sundae. We rate these treats as 4 stars each. The servings were a good size, and we enjoyed the flavors.A small seating area was available with a table and chairs. This furniture was clean, and we appreciated the space to eat our treats inside the business.

Best Ice cream and service around! Came here for a last minute hot five sundae, and honestly this was the best sundae I've ever had! I don't know what type of ice cream this is but it's amazing and fresh! A huge variety of flavors, I got a scoop of Cookie Monster drenched in decadent hot fudge! They also have gelato that looked amazing! On a side note, they have a freezer with beef and meats from a local farm, which is a huge plus if you want locally sourced proteins for dinner! I saw a couple of gluten free items from somewhere near by and also fresh English muffins that I would love to try. Stop down for some seriously good surprises !

I've never been to an ice cream place with different cone flavors before. Our group got M&M, chocolate chip, & pretzel. Delicious ice cream & great service.

The cinnamon roll gelato is literally **the. best. thing. I. ever. ate.**I eat a low carb diet, and when I break it I seldom feel that it was worth it. But if I gain 5 lbs from this little cup of ambrosia, IDGAF!

Stopped in for a cool treat on a hot summer day. I ended up getting lemon sorbet which reminds me of frozen lemon. Lots of seating outside and numerous unique fun flavors loved my staff and customers alike.

You can't go wrong with the Confectionery. They have Perry's ice cream (my personal favorite!), gelato and a variety of local treats (including Brunton's chocolate milk) available all the time. There is both inside and outside seating. Stop by next time you're in Sewickley and looking for a yummy treat.

Wow, what a great ice cream shop! I tried several flavors, and they were equally as delicious. We ended up mixing two flavors, because we just couldn't decide on one! I love that they have Leona's ice cream sandwiches here, oh and even local milk cheese and eggs. I just had to get the eggs, and I'm sure you would have too! (How adorable is that) I would have loved to have seen a dairy free option, other than sorbet.

Delicious ice cream, sherbet, gelato as well as farm fresh milk, butter, cheeses and other goodies. They offer localDelivery services as well. The ice cream parlor is a fun neighborhood shop with limited seating inside, more outside. Local teens behind the counter are always friendly and helpful.

We get the Gelato when I come here, they also have ice cream too. We usually wait in line and it's usually out the door. The place is small with tables inside and outside. One time there was only one person working, maybe someone called off you never know. They don't have a restroom here. It's street parking and there's a parking lot area across the street. If they had a window for gelato only and a separate line for ice cream that would be helpful! I would come back for Gelato though and I might try the ice cream sometime!

I'm sorry but this is not what I expected a hot fudge sundae to be. I questioned it and was told that they were out of whipped cream. That's obviously not the only problem with this.
