I've been driving by this place for a couple years now driving to and from a friend's house and finally got to check it out this Saturday. First off, I am SO glad we made a reservation. I knew this place always looked crowded when I drove by, but I had no idea. There was barely any room for us to walk up to the counter to tell them we were here for our reservation. The place is tiny and everyone wants to be there. The whole vibe reminded me of being in Italy. Don't go there if you're in a rush though!The food was so good! We ordered arancini for an appetizer and it may have been the best arancini we've ever had. Their red sauce is perfect, the crisp on the fry, the cheese - chef's kiss! So good. For meals, we ordered chicken parm and bolognese. We were both so happy with our meals! The meals also come with a side salad that comes out beforehand and even the dressing was delicious. They also give you bread and butter when you sit down.We had some drinks while we were there too. We both got a cocktail and the house montepulciano - all was very good.As far as service - everyone was BUSY! Our food did take a pretty long time to come out, so I repeat - don't go if you're in a rush. Overall though, there was always staff walking by that you could flag down if you needed anything. Our water was always full, our cocktails were fairly quick (considering the crowd), and the wine was at our table almost immediately. It was really just waiting on the kitchen, so maybe they need another person back there, idk.We will 100% be back again.

Food and baked goods are exceptional and on par with some of the best I have enjoyed outside of South Boston or NYC The downside was the size of the space and need for more servers to handle the clientele.Ambiance was quaint and transported me to some restaurants in my travels in Italy.

Some of the best pizza in Pittsburgh.Never had a bad meal here. Just about everything is home recipes. The desserts are to die for.I couldn't recommend this place enough!

I never leave negative reviews but this was ridiculous. My husband and I took his client here for a retirement dinner. They never brought our table bread and the service was slow bringing our orders out. Those things I can overlook but what got me was the ink wasn't even dry on the $300 bill when the waitress rushed over and told us she needs our table for the next reservation, in so many words telling us to get the hell out. We all just looked at each other in disbelief. What a rude way to end the evening. Doesn't matter how good the food was that alone left a bad taste in our mouths to ruin the experience and for that we will not be back.

What a little gem. While we didn't try any, the pastries looked delicious. The white pizza was garlicky and delicious. Crust was crisp on the outside and nice and fluffy but not too big. Italian panini was flavorful and the pesto was a perfect touch. Hubby enjoyed the cafe latte and I had the chai tea latte (it was a bit sweet for my taste but the species were great). Looking forward to returning and trying their other offerings

The service was absolutely horrendous. Seated 20 minutes after our reservation, took over an hour for our dishes to come out, they forgot our appetizers, coffee took 20 minutes to bring out.Food is good. Def take out, don't sit there.Overpriced as well.PS: After leaving a review about the service being terrible. The one owner Jonathan Bagnato proceeded to message me making fun of my outfit and appearance. Very professional response

Phenomenal. This place was PACKED (for good reason) on the Saturday night my family went, but they were able to fit us. My dad, who is the most picky Italian food eater alive, said the sausage & pepper pasta he had was the best he's eaten since his Nani's -- that's huge praise. The chef clearly knows what he's doing. I had a roasted red pepper pasta with chicken that was delicious as well, and my mom loved her bolognese. Make sure to get dessert too! They make all of the desserts in-house and you can tell. The cannoli was fresh, just the right level of sweet and flaky. We also had some of their homemade gelato that melted in your mouth. Cannot recommend more.

My book club had a reservation for our Christmas outing in December, but unfortunately, we had to cancel when someone got the flu. I called to reschedule our reservation and the person on the phone said it was fine and he'd move it. he didn't take my information, but I assumed he already had it from the initial reservation. When we arrived for our new reservation date, THEY WERE CLOSED. Luckily, we were able to move to a nearby restaurant and had a wonderful time.

What a wonderful hidden gem! I had no idea this place was even here. It was a busy bustling night on a Tuesday. Service was great, food allHomemade and delicious and the DESSERTS!!! I can't wait to go back and try everything on the menu.

A coworker told us about this little spot and I'm so glad we made it. We had arancini, a red pepper pasta and the filet. Both were amazing! We will definitely be back
