Seven Springs Mountain Resort

First time back in over 20 years. Overall, the skiing was good and the staff at the rental facility were very friendly. We went tubing our first night and my only criticism is they sold too many tickets for the session and the number of available "lanes". We had a 2 hour tubing pass and after the first hour, we had only gone twice because of the long wait times, so we decided to leave. Felt like a waste of money for only two times down the hill.Seven Springs is a great resort, however, unless you're staying ON the resort (we didn't b/c we had our dog), there isn't much else to do in the area b/c there isn't really anything around. I have been skiing at seven springs since I was young and I have lifetime of memories here. The snow has been amazing so far this season but wish to see more lifts open. I believe the north face lift is missing a part apparently and will be down for the season. Would love to see if the vail team would consider putting in a new, faster lift with that lift being the easiest way to go across from the north face side to the front face of the mountain + quickest access to Tahoe lodge. The southwinds lift was also down but the seven springs/vail team had a shuttle waiting for us to take us directly back to the house. Looking forward to enjoying a snowy season for the 2025 ski season. Had a blast with the outdoor DJ over MLK Jr. weekend. Keep the vibes and tips up!!!

The skiing was good but the resort was terrible. Super packed and tiny hall ways. there are people waiting in lines which makes it hard to move around. Everything is understaffed. Food is expensive and bad. Wait times for food is terrible. We ordered to go due to no seating and it took like 1 hour for burgers, and they were burnt. Also, wayyyy too many kids. I know this place is family friendly but it looks like a kindergarten with kids shouting and crying and running around. Literally everything was so packed nothing was enjoyable. Place could have been much cleaner and the staff are not the nicest. My 3 night stay in the hotel cost about $1800 but definitely not worth it.

This review is strictly for the hotel/facilities and not the mountains/lifts. Upon quick glance, this place is a nice looking resort with big time log cabin feels. Cool spot to spend the night if you're tired from skiing/snowboarding all day. The inside needs some major renovations. The room my wife and Is stayed in was very dated. Paint/wallpaper cracking, moldy caulking, etc. The showerhead was very low, I mean like 5 ft from the ground. I'm not a tall person but that was bothering me. The place is in need of a total makeover. Also, the food there is pretty terrible. People hyped up the breakfast buffet but honestly I would have rather had fast food or even a school cafeteria. Snowboard/ski here, but don't stay here.

The food is overpriced and low quality. They're also always understaffed. We got charged twice for one of our meals; went back to get a refund and it took way too long cause they're cashless and used an old system. (Classic Vale move) The skiing in general is good if there's snow, which is rare. Been going here since 2017, just bring your own food and come on a good snow day. Vale buying it out made it a little better, but at the same time it went even more downhill

I was here for work and it was a great spot! It looked like everyone was having fun and the resort was laid out nicely. There are cabins available for rental as well. The staff was over and beyond kind. The shuttle drivers were extremely friendly.The two down sides: I was a single adult male and the pool/hot tub area was packed with families. I wish there was one hottub for adults only.The other downside: I don't ski or snowboard so I can't review the trails. ‍.

We made reservations online through the website for lodging and what a production it was to cancel. There was a phone number on the reservation confirmation, so I called that number and selected the proper option for canceling. When I finally reached a customer service rep, he couldn't help me because I made the reservation online through sales and they use a different system?? He told me what option to select and transferred me. I selected what he told me and still didn't get anywhere to even cancel. It was group reservations. I didn't book a group reservation. None of this made sense. Why was this phone number listed on the confirmation page if it's not the correct phone number for me to cancel or even modify a reservation? (855 number) I went back to the website for a new number and called the 800 number. Very poor customer service!!! It took 30 minutes to cancel this reservation.

Even though this is a ski resort, don't write it off in the summer. We had a lovely time with many summer activities and the staff was very welcoming and inviting since it's off-season it's a lot cheaper. It's a nice quick little getaway.

I have been coming to Seven Springs since the 90s. It is a fun ski spot. There is good theming. The staff is generally friendly. In 2024, we stayed at the resort for the first time to celebrate my dad's 75th birthday. The resort and hotel are fine. Nothing special, but we had a great time.

Possibly the worst food I have ever experienced..... I dreaded the next meal therefore ...I simply could not and did not.Dirty hallways dirty dirty dirty everywhere. This place could be really fun and nostalgic but it's just like really why am I spending good $ on really bad food bad drinks and dirty conditions Vail group get your act together and yes it does matter.
