Sesame Grill

I love the set up of this place with cozy booth nooks but they also have large family style tables in the center of the room as well. The menu has everything from hibachi, sushi, and chinese. The crab rangoon and dumplings are always a favorite starter. my husband always gets the sushi and never a bad roll. I like the dragon&phoenix, general tso, Szechuan chicken to name a few. The service is always great dine in and take out.

Was it the best Chinese food I've ever had? No. Was it the worst? Not by a long shot. Was it a decent good value meal after a long day of traveling? It definitely was. The staff was nice, the decor was beautiful, and the food came out hot and fast. What more could you ask for? I now know my go to spot now for good Chinese cuisine when I'm in the area visiting family.

When I was a young lad, my father used to take me to a classic Chinese restaurant - a traditional sit down place with hot tea, pagoda reminiscent decor, and that banger Ming Dynasty soundtrack. That place is long goon now. It fell victim to the inexorable out-of-state commercial takeover that has infected my home town. The days of a sitting in a comfy booth being served some chicken by a sweet and not-at-all sour old lady have passed where I am from. That is fortunately not the reality everywhere, and least of all at the Sesame Grill in Steubenville. As I sat in our cozy table alcove sipping on hot tea (a soulfully soothing brew) I wondered why I could not have such a paowerful experience in my city anymore. But therein lies the answer: I live in a city. Take a town; bring in a load of investors from California, add in the wonton destruction of our way of life, and what do you get? A very, very dim sum. The soyl of our country still exists, and it is found in small towns like this, in the simple smiles of the entire staff who thanked us kindly as we proceeded to the exit. Dining here brought me back to my childhood. It made me want to be part of a community again, like how it was before my city was a city. It is also worth mentioning that the egg roll was probably the best egg roll I've ever had, and I mein that. Thank you Sesame Grill for tso wonderful an experience.

10 years later I walk in to pick up a carry out order, and they still know me by name! Hands down the best Chinese in the Steubenville area. Portions are really big, and the food always is made exactly as it should be. From sushi to Chinese to hibachi, they have something for everyone. Give this place a try, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I'm a regular here and I love how they know you when you walk in fast service very friendly staff and owner. Will always be back.

The outside of this place is deceiving. It didn't liked like a real nice place. The inside though is clean and formal with tablecloths, tacky service, and real china. The food is reasonably priced and my dish was excellent. I got the Kung Pao Chicken combo. The egg roll was large and perfectly cooked. They had real condiments, not to go packets. The sauce on my chicken was some of the best I've ever had.I'll definitely eat here again when in town.

The food here is excellent. I ordered sushi and it was fresh and good portions. I also ordered a shrimp dish. The subtle spicy flavor was well done. The only drawback is the service. I waited for a half houR to order. Food toOk another forty minutes. I saw people sit and wIt, then leave before ordering. The place needs an intervention.

This is my go to place when I'm in town. Always fast and friendly service. Very clean also

Great fried rice and teriyaki chicken teppanyaki. Service is was great as well. Have to say the fried rice was pretty good better than most places I have had. Was pretty satisfied and not disappointed will be back when I visit my daughter

Food was not good, and our 100 dollar order was incorrect. The "owner" or at least that's what she said she was, was not kind at all, and refused to fix the order. She did however tell me that she forgot to charge me for extra yum yum sauce and that I should consider that when asking about my missing food. Needless to say, I will never step foot in this disaster of a restaurant ever again!
