Scoops in Bloomfield

I went absolutely crazy when I saw they had classic flavors like Superman! I tried it, and it was delicious. I'll be honest, though. It didn't have the consistent cereal milk taste you get at other places, but that's probably because the cereal milk flavor was competing with the flavors of strawberry and banana.I wish I had an extra stomach to try more flavors, like the Pittsburgh Pothole, which is basically a chocolate lover's dream, or the Gold Medal Ribbon, a blend of chocolate, vanilla, and caramel.Finally, the service was great! The scooper was super friendly and even made us a mountain of whipped cream. I'll definitely be coming back. This place is a gem!

I'm a big fan of scoops! The location is perfect for grabbing a treat after dinner in the area or on a walk. They're open all year and open late which is super convenient. I love that they carry my childhood favorites (Superman, White House cherry, grasshopper pie) and the price is super reasonable. They have a little sitting area inside with some retail space selling pop, ice cream cakes, and candy. There are SO many options it always takes me forever to choose, but I usually pick two. This isn't the place to go if you're looking for super high quality locally churned ice cream or anything but is great if you're looking for a classic scoop of something sugary and fun or are going with a group who has varying tastes. There are tons of flavors kids and grownups alike will love (shout out blue moon!!!!)They have some frozen yogurt options, dairy free options, and things like milkshakes if a cone or cup isn't your thing. A go-to when I'm hanging out in Bloomfield and want a treat.

Pretty standard local ice cream shop, convenient walkable location. Mint chocolate chip has nice flaky chips and the mint flavor isn't overpowering or toothpaste-y. Had it in a malted, which could have been a lot maltier but was well-blended.

1st time visiting scoops. The store is bright & inviting. There are blackboards listing all the amazing flavors, cones, bowls & numerous toppings available. From traditional cookies and cream to cannoli , which was one of the specials. Our group had spamoni, key lime & the cannoli. Service was quick & friendly. The ice cream is creamy & delicious!

I'm not in Bloomfield very often, but when I am I try to stop at the local Scoops location! It's one of five Scoops in/around Pittsburgh, and it's always a delight to visit.I'm a big fan of Scoops in general, as each location serves up a lengthy menu of great flavors. Some of them have a "Pittsburgh twist" added to them to, I.e. One flavor is named the Pittsburgh Pothole. (As far as I know they haven't tried putting fries on or in any ice cream yet, though!)Back to this specific Scoops. The section of the store that you walk into and order from - across from the ice cream freezer - is admittedly a little narrow. If you're like me and you prefer to walk the full freezer length before picking your flavor, be aware that it can be tough to get a good view when the store is busy.That said, the staff are always the best - all smiles, happy to answer questions, and ready to put together small and big orders alike. The store is bright and well maintained as well.If it wasn't obvious by now: I'm a big fan. Here's to my next day in Bloomfield, and my next visit to Scoops In Bloomfield!

Very good ice cream and friendly service. So many flavors to choose from! I also like the different choices for cones. We were waited on quickly and the staff was cheerful and helpful. This is a great location for an ice cream shop. We had a wonderful time.

TASTEBUDS BURSTING!! This ice cream spot blows basket robins and dairy queen outta waters! The flavors go from so unique to those basic yet delicious flavors as well, everything is so creamy smooth with the best consistency that you want your ice cream to have. The banana cream pie and strawberry cheesecake will have you want to go to this place EVERYDAY the flavors are so spot on and you just enjoy every single bite. if you have been to this place you are missing out in SO MANY WAYS!

Toasted coconut is to die for. Perfectly balanced and true coconut flavor. MUST EAT! Really good!

Solid ice cream! Really liked the banana cream pie. Smooth and flavorful. Cute interior and nice service. Would definitely come back!

Had a lot of fun exploring the wide selection of interesting flavors at this shop like Banana Cream Pie and Superman.Ended up getting a single with the Red Velvet, which is something I've never had in an ice cream form before, and the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.Both were delicious! The ice creams were velvety and thick; you can taste the quality of the milk and other ingredients. My favorite, by far, was the Red Velvet though! Super affordable and served a generous portion. Also, didn't need to pay more for the split scoop!!
