We visited this shop about 2.5 years ago when we visited Ligonier with our family. Today we received a box of Scamp's goodies from our kids! We opened the milk chocolate covered toffee and OMG!! Still super delicious!! Buttery yummy toffee covered by creamy chocolate with just the right amount of sea salt. The box came when promised (as per kids' order) and the goodies were well cushioned with tissue paper and bubble wrap. Great products, great service and great kids!!

Absolutely the best candy shop in the entire region. Their ultimate is the toffee, in all of its versions, but everything there is delicious. You can taste the quality in every bite. No skimping. Do yourself a favor and try it... better yet, do your friends a favor and share it. Their candies make great gifts. All my recipients have had nothing but rave reviews.

Delivery, which cost about ten dollars for a small box of toffee took about six days via the mail. Plan ahead if ordering for a holiday or birthday.

I just picked up a bag of Scamps toffee at a Love Pittsburgh shop because I needed a treat and always love toffee. This did not disappoint. Savory, salty and sweet with enough of a satisfying crunch without being hard on your teeth at all. Glad to be able to support small businesses when I travel.

This place rocks! Really, I went in because the orange door looked inviting and I never say no to sweets. It's a cute little storefront with lots of goodies, all beautifully wrapped and displayed. We tried a sample of the toffee, and that was it...I walked out with a box, my sister walked out with a box, my dad walked out with polish marshmallow caramel candies, and we all plan to go back to get more before we leave Ligonier! Even better, Scamp's is sold in many speciality stores throughout the U.S - and one's near my house!!!

The homemade toffee is SO GOOD!! The entrance is a bit off to the side, and the interior is a cute little place. The toffee is made in-house, while the other candies are not. You can sample their milk chocolate, white chocolate, and dark chocolate dipped toffees. The milk chocolate dipped toffee is a perfect balance of sweetness and crunch. I'm also a fan of white chocolate, so I liked that one too, but I can only eat a few pieces at a time--which isn't a bad thing. The little boxes of toffee are perfect little gifts! And you can mix and match. If I'm ever by Ligonier again, I'd stop by and get more milk chocolate dipped toffee.

Delicious, small batch, buttery toffee. Everything is gift box ready, but I also like to personally indulge. :) My favorite is the Swiss milk chocolate toffee, but they also have yummy Belgian dark and white chocolate too! They also make very unique chocolate barks, with peanut butter, dried fruit, and nuts. Another go to gift idea is their toffee sauce. It is divine on ice cream! All of their original products are made in their incredibly cute store in Ligonier, Pa. They sell dozens of other candies in their store as well (chocolate-covered coffee beans, caramels, gummies, jelly beans, etc.)

Best place to buy toffee and/or sweets in the area. Super cute store. I recommend the mixed chocolate toffee though they have other sweets. I paid $6-$7 for a small bag of toffee and practically devoured it before heading back to NJ. They do have smaller bags for $4 if you just want a taste.

I love their toffee and the place is so quaint. But, every time I'm in the area and want to buy a few pounds of toffee, which is usually on Sunday, they are closed. I know I have probably saved thousands by them being closed. So if you ever happen to be driving through central PA, such as I do after Steeler games and want delicious toffee, you should stop. Unless it's a Sunday game!
