I hosted a baby shower there this past weekend and I can't extol enough acclamation about this venue. It was cottage core vibes meets Victorian era high tea. It manages to be quaint and inviting, but absolutely stunning at the same time. The food was wonderful, the scones were honestly the best scones I've ever had and they make everything on site! Not to mention the presentation, the tiered serving trays? The different pieces of vintage china settings? The crystal goblets? Omg, take me back to the days of dreaming of having a tea party like this! My inner child is jumping up and down! This venue is small, but the perfect size for a more intimate gathering, my party was 22 people and we fit just fine. The waitress was adept at explaining the tea flavors and describing what was on the serving trays as they were set down, and the owner, Sherry, was a joy to work with. Her friendly and professional demeanor helped assuage the stress of throwing an event, and her contracts were well drafted and easily understood. I can't wait to go back in my own time just for lunch and tea! Once again, I highly recommend this lovely tea room, whether it's for an event, a luncheon or a princess party, I will be telling all of my friends about it.

There's nothing more quaint than a charming tea room. The Saxonburg Tearoom On Main hosts a full afternoon tea experience including tea, three types of tea sandwiches, assorted scones, and dessert. The space is so charming and right on theme.

I took a friend and her daughter here for a post-Christmas tea as my gift to them this year and I'm so glad I did -- this tea room is adorable and it's located on a cute street alongside other shops and restaurants. We picked our teas, enjoyed broccoli cheddar soup and then our savory sandwiches, scones and desserts. We learned that scones and things can be ordered ala carte, so I will be ordering scones in the future for sure. The menu changes seasonally and the child's tea included hot chocolate and a PB&J. We loved our time here and I'd love to come back.

Amazing place to sit and enjoy a few hours with family!Brought my daughters and mother in law here for afternoon tea and it was so much fun.I contacted them via Facebook messenger on a closed day to inquire about gluten free options & reservations for the following day and they were quick to reply and make our reservation. We arrived just before 11 and our table was set and ready- we were greeted right away and seated promptly. We ordered our tea and enjoyed a cup before our food came out. The tiered plate with all the treats was so pretty (the gluten free sandwiches & scones were served on their own plates to ensure no cross contamination. We each received 3 types of sandwiches, scones & then the gluten people also got macrons & cheesecake bitesWe received refills on our tea pots as we enjoyed our treats and each otherWill come back on our next visit to PA

We had my engagement here (which was a surprise to me) and it was amazing! My future mother in law rented the whole place and we had a delicious and fun afternoon tea which ended with my surprise proposal. The shop itself is so cute and has great natural light and an awesome vibe. The staff was amazing and the food and tea were delicious. They went above and beyond to make our day special and worked with my mother in law to keep everything a surprise. Consider this place for your upcoming private events, it was a great time and I will definitely be back!

1000x over the experience I anticipated. Went on a mommy/daughter/bestie date. The five of us had a spectacular time. Totally kid friendly(like kindergarten +), very quiet ambiance, delish samples of genuine high tea service. If you want to feel like English Royalty definitely stop in. Oh the teas are soooo much yum

What a little gem of a tea room in Saxonburg! Beautifully decorated; darling accents, wide variety of teas and 3-tiered delights made for a glorious afternoon! Our server, Lucas, was a doll. We really enjoyed spoiling ourselves with this beautiful afternoon tea service! The food is very filling (we took home a scone and mini-tart) and the experience was a special treat!

I attended Serendipi-tea in a party of three. If I were an inexperienced tea room patron, I might say this was a lovely afternoon, however, my experience leads me to say otherwise. Lets break it down.Service:We were greeted immediately by a delightful young server who did a great job taking care of us. The tea:Selection was very limited. I ordered the blood orange rooibos and it tasted like baby aspirin. I was surprised to see a $2.00 upcharge for the mango tea. At $35/person, any tea selection should be included. The food: The squash soup had a nice texture and was very flavorful. However, the portion was tiny; probably 1/3 of a cup. You're a tea room; why not serve it in a tea cup?The chicken salad croissant and the feta cucumber sandwiches were tasty. I would have preferred a smaller cucumber sandwich and a third savory. The pumpkin scone, although flavorful, seemed slightly under baked and was small. I did enjoy the addition of fresh fruit sharing the plate, but I would suggest replacing the orange slices with a frilled cocktail pick of 3 fruit bites instead, simply for the sticky fingers factor. The desserts were disappointing. The cream puff seemed like a frozen puff one might find at a big box store. The cheese cake had a soggy crust leading me to think it had probably been frozen; adding a berry on top would have made a big difference. The brownie petit fours, we were told, came from the bakery down the street. They were average. The atmosphere:I found the room to be sterile and under-decorated. I liked the recessed shelves with the wall paper and tchotchkes in the one wall. Painting the rest of the room with a complimentary pastel color would add so much warmth and ambiance to the room. I did like the chandeliers. I did not care for the plastic table clothes. They really detracted from the potential elegance of the experience. The odd table decoration with the battery operated candles looked cheap. I think it was supposed to be a pumpkin. A real tea light candle and even just a single fresh stem in a bud vase is always better. My cup and tea pot were chipped and my daughter's cup had a big crack. And you're missing a huge opportunity to place items for sale throughout the dining room.We stayed for less than an hour and concluded we just weren't feeling the "experience" of tea that we so enjoy. There are numerous other alternatives that we prefer. We will not be returning.
