I've been coming here for years, because they're cheaper than the distributors around me. You can find a wide selection of brews, ciders, seltzers, and snacks. All of your cases will be arranged by state at the back of the door. Your craft beers and speciality drinks are placed at the front of the store where you'll find lots of fun, colorful cans and bottles. These crafts could be 6-packs, 4-packs, and singles.

Stopped in Sunday to pick up some beer for watching Steelers game. I have been in here a couple times before. I have beer places closer but wanted a better selection.Save-Mor has pretty good prices and has all the basic beers plus a pretty good selection of craft beer. They have cases, four or six packs, and a mix your own six pack section. I will say this visit we didn't have as much jumping out at us and tempting us. Also on previous visits they have had several options from Hoppin' Frog (one of my favorites) and this time they had none. Wound up getting a six pack of Stone Woot Stout which is delicious and was only slightly higher than when purchased at Giant Eagle. Also picked up a few singles to try.You can be in and out of her pretty quickly if you want to be. However if you are browsing and looking at everything you can definitely spend some time here.

Where I live we have to buy our beer and alcohol in stand alone stores for now until they eventually get them to grocery stores but that won't be for a while. That being said I'm used to not having the convenience of picking up beer or wine while grocery shopping. This store I've seen a lot when going between Shadyside/Squirrel Hill and heading down to Homestead and Waterfront. As far as beer goes they have a really large variety of beer that is sold here and many brews from all over the country as well as imports. What I couldn't pass up on was the deals that they have on Yuengling. Being that Yuengling is local I was especially going to take advantage of the deals. A 24 pack case (cans) is only 15 dollars here, premium and lite are a dollar more. THAT is a really good deal. In Buffalo if I can even find a case of Yuengling at Walmart it costs closer to 19 dollars for a 24 pack. The prices for other beers seem to be inline as regular priced whether bottles or cans such as around the 22 to 25 dollar range for mainstream type. Of course the specialty brands are going to cost more and may not be available in 24 packs but rather 12's and 6's. Now that I've finally gone to Save-Mor I'm not going to bother buying beer at either Walmart in Buffalo or the Duty Free at the border when going home. The prices of Yuengling here make it worthwhile to only buy it at Save-Mor.Instead of driving back to Brown Hill if you want a quick and dirty way to get back to 376 take the back street (Saline) because Beechwood has a long line and light.

Easy in and out beer store. Prices are the usual for any type of store like the such. There is a cooler section if you are looking for something already cooled...Convenient!Staff is very laid back.Best part is, they still have the doors you have to stand on the mat to open.

I don't drink alcoholic beverages, but do come to buy for parties or gifts. There is a wide selection of beers and craft beers. Sav-Mor also has selection of root beers including a diet root beer that I particularly like. They also have large tubs of hard pretzels that I purchase regularly. They are conveniently located near to the Waterfront, so its any easy in-out stop. My hair cutter is also located close by for added convenience in doubling up. Prices are good.

If you have a car to travel, Save Mor is the place to go for beer--they sell cases, kegs, cups, and snacks, which makes picking up what you need for a party a simple, one-stop affair. The prices are typical, the people are nice, and they have a huge selection of most everything you'd want a case of. Also, you get a free large bag of ice with every keg/tub rental!

Save-Mor Beer, you make the ridonkulous PA liquor laws slightly tolerable. They carry my beloved Abita brand, and have a huge selection of many other local, national and international breweries. There's a walk- in cooler section with your normal beers, nothing fancy in there though.Plus, their commercial can't be beat!

Yeah, so buying beer in the state of pennsylvania is a shit experience. Why, why, why, WHY can't they just sell the beer in the LIQUOR STORES? I don't understand that at all. Anyway, I was parked, in, and out with a case of black lager and a blue moon brewmaster's sampler in ASAP, so I'm a happy camper. I would be happier if going out to buy beer wasn't like a full day's errand, but that's PA's fault, not save-mor's.
