I was in town for a work conference and I happen to walk by this place one afternoon while exploring the area. I went back two days later and got my an Italian sub and slices of pizza. This place was killer! Everything with authentic and just amazing. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to go!

First time I've been here. It's been opened since 1975 and can't believe it took me that long to visit. But it was worth it, called, ordered and 15 minutes he said. $15 with tax for a small pizza. Food was very good, right to the point.

It's not on any main drag and I found it by accident but the pizza was really good plus the staff was really friendly and the pizza was reasonably priced. The pizza was just the way I like it lots of cheese and a little greasy your normal Pittsburgh pizza

First time stopping in at Sanremos today. Great little hidden spot along the edge of downtown on Market St. I got two Sicilian cheese slices to go to enjoy the sunshine on break. I'm always open and optimistic to having new pizza for the first time and I have to say I was pretty stoked with how good it was! Seems like they've made a name for themselves in the thick slice Sicilian pizza game. The dough was full but soft, with a nice crunch to the crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese ratio. I'll probably have to get a full pie next time. The dining area was spacious and nice with multiple tables, chairs, a long wall booth. It appeared clean and tidy. The bar area in the back looked pretty chill, almost like the perfect spot to hang out and grab some cold ones with friends and do a little day drinking. Looking forward to having it again!

I have ventured here quite often for lunch as it is not far from the office. I have to say it has been the best pizza I have had since moving to Pittsburgh almost two years ago. The service is attentive and the pizza is always amazing. It can be crowded at times depending on the day but it is never a very long wait. Come here for the pizza and stay for the hoagie.

This is a good, basic pizza joint (for Pgh). The pizza was hot and fresh and served relatively quickly. The cheese was a little overloaded. The crust was more chewy than crispy which is typical for Pittsburgh. The seems to be pretty busy during the weekday lunch hour. Atmosphere is casual. My waiter was pretty attentive and courteous; no complaints there.
