I must say I really like the inside, from ceiling to floor the decor is great. They do floating Wagasa's on the ceiling, tea cups along the wall, just every thing down to the lamps is very authentic. Unusually high quality disposable napkins, maybe I'm getting old, but I appreciate a good napkin. Our waiter was very courteous, brought our drinks quickly as we went over the menu. He was able to point out a menu item that was similar to a picture I showed him on my phone. I ordered the Godzilla Roll and my fellow patrons ordered the Cali and Rainbow rolls, and fried noodles. My wife wasn't too fond of the Cali rolls but I ordered the Godzilla Roll and they were really good! Fried noodles were delicious as well. Pina Colada was tall but not very strong, no complaints there. I liked this spot, but I might have to convince my wife to go back again, we had two entirely different experiences. I say give it a try

I have now been here three times.To be honest, if I had limited myself to only basing my review on my first visit, I would not be giving 4 stars. My first visit was when they first opened, and they definitely had some kinks to work out, and for the most part, they did. There was definite portion issues, server issues, and some other customer service issues. For my family, though, food quality itself has remained consistently good. Unlike the one other review there is currently, we've had no issues with our sushi or other food items. Our most recent visit (#3) was by far the best we've had. If we would have had the level of service, quality, and appropriate portion sizes we received during our first visit, I would have been singing the praises of this place everywhere. I'm glad we continued to give them a chance, and I am hoping now that they've been open a little longer, things will continue the way our third visit was. One of the things we really like about this place is that you get rice AND noodles with your meal, in addition to the veggies and shrimp. They have also done a beautiful job with the renovation of the space. We will continue to patronize this location, and I will update the review accordingly.

Traveling from out of town with my band, and I suggested benihana as a fun first night of tour and so very glad we came here and had quite a night! Unassuming facade, but I liked the vibe very much indoors. I could tell as it was a Wednesday night, probably not the busiest, but we had great service, our food was amazing, and let's be real, the benihana was SO FUN! The sake was great and it paired quite well with a spicy tuna roll i started with. I do like that benihana meal gets you soup and salad, nice way to stave off the hunger for the show. Our chef was funny, played with us a bunch, made a ton of great jokes, and the food and drinks just kept flowing! I definitely over ate my scallops and steak, but both were cooke excellently and I LOVED the noodles that came with. This was a nice gem and a super fun experience. Word to the wise, the scorpion bowl is awesome, but it does sneak up on you really quickly if you're not careful haha!

We went there on a Wednesday evening around 6. Not too many people were seated in the booths meant for sushi guests, maybe 5-6 tables. Two parties were sharing one hibachi table. The place looked stunning. It was way to chic for a place like rootin'-tootin' Belle Vernon. This place looks amazing. Wow. This business took over for a crappy buffet which my wife hated and didn't survive the pandemic. The hibachi chef was awesome and the food was great. I ordered filet with scallops and my wife ordered filet with lobster. Of course, my two kids ate plain noodles... The wait was a little long for the appetizers when I noticed that there was only one waiter. This guy was really hustling, but one person can only take care of so many tables alone. The place needs more staff, but he was definitely on it with drink refills, which came out automatically. I sometimes worry about that when I'm thirsty at other places and also order water just in case the service is slow. I was pleasantly surprised. The octopus appetizer tasted great. The filet mignon was seasoned perfectly and my wife enjoyed the lobster. We left very full with leftovers.

My boyfriend and I have been here twice now. Each time is amazing. The sushi is delicious and the service is fantastic. The water glass is never empty and they are very quick with all services. I highly recommend the fire roll that is my favorite. My boyfriends favorite is the spicy Santa or the Boston roll. The multiple sushi rolls in the boat for a flat price is such a good deal. Highly recommend

Was excited to go but left hungry. Food was extremely dry had no flavor and our sushi came out a good 10 minutes after our dinner did. by far the worst hibachi restaurant ive ever been to! Wendy's is a much better option than this place. only reason it deserves 1 star is the staff was friendly. stay clear, shogun in uniontown is 1000 times better

Food was godly, the prices are a little high. The service is actually pretty quick, nice staff aswell. The ambiance was pretty okay, it was clean in there too.

this is being kind, no central air, if any, the food was lousy, the rice tasted stale, the salad had a big chunk of lettuce, not even cut up , the filet mignon was so salty, the noodles seemed like left overs

Food was Fabulous!! Service was good despite they seemed a bit understaffed, but that's everywhere...Highly recommend, very good food all around and nice atmosphere.

Good sushi at a good price! I haven't tried the hibachi yet. Birthday celebration music is a little loud and annoying if you aren't with the party
