Sam’s in the Strip

This is a quick and affordable stop as you stroll through the strip. They have ice cream, gelato and cookies! I got the molten lava cake gelato in a cup. It was very chocolaty and actually had cake bites. It was perfect for a hot sat afternoon. I would definitely come back and try some of the other flavors!

If you want to find the strips best gelato nothing further than Sam's in the strip! Keylime gelato was the bomb!

Beautiful day down on the Strip when we stumbled across Sam's. There are several different flavors of both gelato and ice cream. It's $2.75 for a pretty good sized regular scoop. Would definitely come back :)

Desiring some ice cream given I was going to have one more cheat day from my diet, I decided to give this place a try.I'd have to say the Zanzibar Chocolate was close to the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had. Also, the Latte da Espresso was amazing and close to the best coffee-based ice cream I've had.The man serving us the ice cream (I'm guessing it was Sam?) was a real cool down-to-earth dude.This is going to be my to-go spot any time I am in the strip. The diet can wait.

Sam's in the Strip is a must stop for a delicious ice cream cone, milkshake, which you can add a cookie to, if you'd like to treat yourself all the way, or a healthier choice of many smoothies to choose from. Dave, the owner, is one of the good guys, who's always friendly and working his hardest to provide you with a source to satisfy your craving of a well earned treat, while experiencing one of the best areas in Pittsburgh.
