Got salad and a wine, then waited an hour after that for a chef to come out!! Then, he didn't have enough food for the table!?!?!

A great spot for hibachi...the food is always consistent and good. The prep and presentation is entertaining, done right there in front of you...and kids enjoy it especially. The sushi and crab rangoon are tasty apps!Based on the size of your party, pay mind to your check, and make sure the tip hasn't been added to your bill - a common practice for larger groups (it's written but never or seldom verbally announced). A fun place to eat!(For some reason the original Yelp review site shows this location as closed...it is not. ???)

I recently had dinner there and it went from bad to worse. The servers just didn't care the chef didn't even put on a show and the food was bad. My shrimp was under cooked he didn't use any lemon to cook. We were there at peek time and the place was empty. I guess that should have been my first warning sign.

Had lunch here with my wife niece and great nieces. The kids enjoyed the show and ate most of their food. Our meals were good and the service was good as well. It was a different experience than other reviews I saw. It was well worth the stop.

Normally love it here go frequently However they got my order wrong Never came back and asked if we wanted drinks when I came in I let them know it was my daughters bday and I wanted to preorder the fried ice cream song etc never happened Also they used to give you a dark and light sauce now they give you two light sauces A asks. If I could have the dark sauce He had an attitude about it ! Won't go back

Restaurant falsely advertises 1/2 off sushi on a poster sign outside restaurant as well as online for Monroeville location only. The owner David informed me it's too expensive to remove advertisements. I'm not sure how expensive it is to remove a hanging sign from the front entrance to the restaurant but ok The waitress was fine but rude when asked about special. I went outside after our meal to make sure the sign I saw was correct and DAVID could've cared less. There are plenty other restaurants to visit! Caution visiting this place. If I could give zero stars I would. We came with my daughter and her friend and one if my best friends and her son. We came into town for a gymnastics tournament. Sushi is a go to for us, esp when we travel. We got in really quickly and sat down for hibachi. Part of hibachi is the interaction with the cook. This cook was horrible. No interaction, no fun. Our table was looking around and all the other tables we're having great interaction, the volcano, tossing of food, etc. The hibachi was ok. The sushi was ok. Not worth my time and money. Will not be coming back.

I'd give this sushi a 3 because it wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst. My friend and I ordered the amazing tuna roll, saga roll, salmon roll, spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, some sashimi and their garden salad (because I love ginger dressing). The best roll was the amazing tuna roll because they put pepper on it which made it taste better. I usually don't prefer tuna but this was pretty good. The saga roll is deep fried and I normally don't like those rolls but the description made it sound like my favorite roll ever from a place that went out of business in Nashville and I've been trying to find its twin ever since. Tonight I did not succeed. The deep fried outside was soggy and not very crunchy. But still, not the worst roll. The spicy salmon roll was pretty good, it had little crunchies in it that I enjoyed. The other rolls were fine, just basic. And the sashimi was okay, not the best. Usually salmon is supposed to feel buttery but this didn't impress me. They did give enough wasabi and ginger, they even threw in two yum yum sauces which was the highlight for me. Their garden salad was literally just iceberg lettuce and one cucumber with not enough ginger dressing at all, so that was a waste of money. Saga is saga. It's basic and the only close enough and decent enough sushi around while I'm visiting my friend for the night when we had the craving.

MASSIVE disappointment...55.00 for the emperor's special and this is what I get. The salad was literally a handful of iceberg lettuce with some gross cream based dressing.NEVER again.
