We stopped in to Rumors Bar & Grill after my son's open house last night and let me just tell you guys, I'm so glad we did! What a great local Bar & Grill!Upon sitting down we were greeted by the chef who stopped over at our table with a sample of his amazing Zuppa soup. Honestly you might need to make a special stop in just for his tasty soup on a chilly Fall day or following a day out with the family from the Patch. But hold on, the greatness doesn't stop there! The specials! So many good specials! This place is priced perfectly and the food pairs so well! My husband got the wing special that came with one of his favorite drafts. You seriously can't beat wings, fries and a beer for roughly $12! I got a half of the Philly cheese hoagie that came out loaded with all the yummy goodness and a side of soup. Our two little kiddos ate all their meals (need I say anything more there?)! I think my husband found our new favorite local spot and I'm looking forward to the Monday margs and app specials post my upcoming delivery! Cheers to a great time at Rumors! Hope to see you all there!

My fiancé and I have been eager to not only try new restaurants, but to try this one out specifically. We've heard nothing but good things. We placed a to-go order since it was Saturday and during a busy hour. We started off with some breaded mushrooms as an appetizer. This appetizer comes with some of their house made chips. The mushrooms were fantastic and delicious. The chips were superb as well, but I do have to say they give you the saddest portion of chips with the mushrooms. It's not even enough for two people to share, which is disappointing considering the price. My fiancé got their famous reuben. He let me grab a bite of it, and I do have to say it was astonishing! The meat was so juicy and it had plenty of thousand island dressing. I ordered their fish sandwich and that was pretty good as well. It came with a side of coleslaw that I neither hated nor loved, it was just okay, nothing special. The fish was put on top of a serving of lettuce on the bun, and because the fish was so hot, it definitely wilted the lettuce. It would be nice if the lettuce came on the side for this reason. Alongside my fish sandwich, I got a side of macaroni and cheese, which I do have to say was quite good, but again skimpy on the portion. The last thing I ordered was a bowl of their lobster bisque. This was the greatest disappointment of the whole meal. This soup was the worst I've ever had. Not worth the $6.99 I paid for. The lobster was fake, could have used quite a bit of salt, and it wasn't creamy. I was so upset, I had to toss it out because I couldn't stomach finishing more than 1/4 of the portion given. All in all this place was definitely a great place for a sandwich. Next time we'll have to try dining in to get a full scale of the ambiance. I'll definitely be trying out something else to get a feel for their full menu.

First time stopping here in about 15 years. Dunno why it's been so long. I read great recent Yelp reviews & stopped in on a sunny November Wednesday around 3pm. There were only 3 other patrons. They have a large menu for a small place. Wednesday happens to be $4 craft draft day & honestly getting a Troegs Perpetual IPA for $4 these days is a deal! So I had two. Each day there are different food & drink specials. I got the gyro & fries for $10.99 as take out for my husband and I had the Philly steak wrap with fries at the bar. Honestly the wrap was spectacular, packed with thin shaved steak, cheese, onions & peppers. Fries were hot & crispy. I also ordered zucchini fries to go & they came with marinara & house made potato chips. The bartender, Christine, was very friendly. They have DJ nights, karaoke nights, trivia nights. There is a front porch to go out on in nice weather. They also have lots of TV's & several game machines & a jukebox. Parking lot fairly large. Off the beaten bath on Rochester Rd. Looks kinda like a biker dive, but staff & patrons very friendly so don't be afraid to stop in. I plan to return before another 15 years passes!!

Okay... when you need a break from the crazy hustle of traffic and people, this little roadside restaurant fits the bill. I love the barsy-feel without the rowdiness. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer. We loved the buffalo dip appetizers and I highly recommend the Rachel sandwich ( I opted for coleslaw instead of sauerkraut ). There are trivia and karaoke nights that could make this a fun place with friends!

Stopped in this evening for a pick up order. I called in advance and food was ready 15-20 minutes later when I arrived. My wife got the chicken sandwich and I tried the Mac burger. We got my 2-year old son the PB&J with house made chips on the side. Prices were very reasonable especially for the potion size of the burger and chicken sandwiches which both came with fries too. The chicken was fried and had a nice mustard sauce to go with it. The burger was cooked medium to medium rare which wasn't a problem for me but a bit underdone for my wife (in the future I'll specify how well to cook the burger). Only other complaint was the burger bun was completely flattened and soggy by the time I got home and was ready to eat. I think this last one is on me as it likely would've been a different experience had we eaten in. All in all a good experience and I think we'll come back for more.

Pleasant workers, quick food preparation fun atmosphere! Generally, we order take-out, and they usually tell us about 20 minutes. My husband loves their Fish Sandwich (with cocktail sauce) and Mac & Cheese. It's huge! This past week, I ordered their Philly Steak hoagie (I get it without peppers). It was absolutely delicious! And huge!In the past, I had their Meatball hoagie, but I didn't care for it at all! Didn't like the meatballs and the sauce tasted burnt! Couldn't eat it!Also, in the past, I had their Reuben sandwich, but it was really really greasy.Do not recommend it.

I am consistently impressed with how good the food is here! Low prices, big portions and big flavors are a great combo for a neighborhood bar. The bartenders who also serve as the waitstaff are always friendly and accommodating.Highly recommend their wings or their "Rumor Mac" burger (aka a Big Mac on steroids). Kudos for always bringing the food out immediately while it's still piping hot. Great beer prices too. It's been cold lately, but they installed a beautiful deck outside that I look forward to enjoying this summer. Skip the chains in Cranberry and give this place a try!

I've lived in the area for 20 years but this was my first time stopping here. My buddy and I were looking for someplace different and he said we should go to Rumor's. My reply was really?? He said they have great wings and a decent bar food menu. So we went. It was mostly bar business when we arrived, in fact I didn't see anyone eating, but we didn't arrive until 9. Most of the interior is taken up by a huge bar in the center, but there are tables on either end. The place was very busy. We sat at a table on the far end and waited and waited. I think we just couldn't be seen over a high top table full of people between the bar staff and us. We walked to the bar and asked if we could order food and drinks and they apologized for not seeing us. They immediately came over to the table and took our orders. The staff was incredibly friendly. My buddy couldn't remember which wing sauce he liked so she went and got samples with celery for him to determine which he wanted. After a little wait the wings and fries we ordered came out. The fries were decent. The wings were cooked perfectly. I don't eat wings very often but I am particular. I like my wings cooked crispy and not gummy. They were spit on without me even asking. I had the hot bbq sauce and it was delicious. My buddy had the chef special sauce and he really liked it. We didn't really look at the beer menu but just grabbed Yuengling. Napkins are replaced by a roll of paper towels. The server checked in us often and even did so from at the bar via hand signals. She was funny, she brought over two bottles of ketchup and said now I thought I would bring you two so you don't have to fight each other for it when you eat your fries. Our bill came and we were pleasantly surprised. The wings were in my opinion inexpensive, as were the fries and beer. Then I chuckled, even the side dressing for the wings was dirt cheap. Twenty five cents for ranch!! Only downsides to this place: gets busy with bar traffic and the music is so damn loud you basically yell across the table to talk. All in all I will be back often.
