RT 40 Deli

Good luck trying to patronize this establishment. Twice now we have driven there only to find them closed despite their posted hours and calling ahead. This time we arrived to find the door locked. They came to the door and said they were closed because, get this, THEY RAN OUR OF BREAD. Really? You're a f*cking sandwich shop. How do you run out of bread? It MIGHT be the best sandwich shop in the universe. But I'll never know. Done with them. Done with them. Done with them. Done with them.

I drive almost every day and never eat fast food. I am always happy when I am driving near Beallsville on Rt. 40 because I know I am about to have a super tasty lunch. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is special. Every sandwich I try is better than the one before. The soups are pretty special. Macaroni salad too. Yummy.

I cannot say enough about RT 40 - They did a phenomenal job on my mother's bereavement luncheon. I took a gamble and contacted the deli and unknown to me it was owned by someone I knew from high school, which only makes it even better! Everyone at the luncheon loved the sandwiches, fruit/vegetable tray, potato and pasta salad plus, the cookie tray.... There is no other place you need to call for your catering - RT 40 Deli is the BEST!

Got the Italian hoagie and was apprehensive at first because I thought it was pricey at $15 for a hoagie with no sides. That being said, it was the best Italian hoagie I've ever had! Desserts look delicious, will have to try another time

If you're looking for The Best Italian Hoagie for a very Reasonable Price then you need to come here, also some great Chicken Salad and Homemade Soups, some great fresh deli lunch meats and Fantastic Cheeses. Remember don't judge a book by the cover!!

Not bad. A little better then your average sub place, and miles better then subway or jimmy johns.

The food, service, and the whole ambiance was absolutely outstanding!!! The food was priced perfectly and I am definitely coming back!!!

Busy place! Sign out front says "voted best fish sandwich 2022". First, I'd like to know who voted?Second, are they are making the same fish sandwich this year? My fish sandwich was like rubber. I'm trying to figure out how you make fish do that. Over cooking? Reheating? Kept warm too long? I don't have a clue. It's now in the bin. Some of my ordered items were missing from my order too. So I won't be in a hurry to return and probably never for fish. ‍
