Such great coffee!! The baristas are nice and I love the unique atmosphere! It was super busy but the drinks came out fast!

My daughter and I had an event at SRU. Deciding we deserved a treat (and needed lunch), so we popped in here. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and the cafe itself with rough hewn log panels, exposed brick wall, filled with antique signage, and adorably mismatched furnishing is the cutest vibe ever!My daughter ordered an iced butterscotch DECAFFEINATED latte while I ordered the blood orange black tea with two bowls of fully loaded potato soup. Within minutes of ordering, our drinks and soup were ready. The latte and iced tea were refreshingly delicious. The latte was rich and flavorful while the iced tea was so refreshing! The potato soup had freshly shredded cheddar and the most delicious bacon on top.If you ever find yourself in Slippery Rock, pop in because their pastries are really what they are known for and the cookies are as big as I've ever seen!

Skip to the end for how I score...Great atmosphere and if I was working remotely, I'd happily spend a morning here. I drink regular coffee and theirs is very good quality. They don't appear to have many options for other varieties or flavors, but the stuff they serve is very good. Similar with their pastries...not a lot to choose from, but the ones they have are really tasty. The baristas are all friendly and attentive. The service was quick and accurate.If you're anywhere near Slippery Rock and need a caffeine jolt, Rooster's is a solid choice. the baked good portions are great! I liked the reusable plate as well. staff was very polite and helpful. this seems like a good place for students, my friend and i found a back table with comfortable seats and studied for almost 2 hours with no complaints. there were outlets available.

Not a huge coffee drinker. Got a white mocha with caramel that was really good. Also got the last order of chocolate filled beignets

If you like throwing your money away on tiny sized drinks ($8 for a small) by all means, go! In my opinion, which I hope you take into consideration, I'd rather not. Also, if you do decide to go, bring your card. The workers can't count your cash. After it's all said and done, they expect a tip. No thanks!

I love this little coffee shop. We visit every Tuesday morning after a night at our campground. The decor is cute and cozy, staff is friendly and everything on the menu is great! (Don't sleep on that maple-walnut milk in your latte!)
