Went here with family on the recommendation of an acquaintance . Definitely a hole in the wall! But that's ok, some of the best food comes out of places like this. Unfortunately, that is not what we found there. Three of us ordered fish dinners, one ordered wings and 1 a steak. Service was fine, waitress friendly and checked with us several times if we needed anything. However, food was a different story. Everything was so greasy!! Fries, fish, wings....yuck!! The portions were huge! I don't understand why they give you so many fries. I guess because potatoes are cheap and it looks like your getting a lot of food for your money. The steak was a thin cut of Im not sure, but it was way overdone and dry with no flavor.I give it 2 stars because the service is good. But I can get good service an McD, but I don't eat there either.

This place has a great weekend buffet, good home cooked food for under $10. You can't judge the food by the outside of this place- the owner is a sweet women who has always came out from the kitchen to make sure our food was good. We love to go here and its a drive away from where we live. Its worth the drive and always leave happy, very comfortable atmosphere and if you leave hungry its your fault! The buffet always has different meats and pasta, mashed potatoes, noodles, gravy, vegt, and salad bar.

I would give negative stars if I could. This place genuinely was the worst place I've EVER ate at. I'll break it off into sections to explain why.The tables and chairs are so old and look like they've never been cleaned, and it looks like it hasn't been swept in years. Oh! And if you have to use the restroom, HOLD IT! These bathrooms look worse than what you'd find in a subway. They are single person restrooms and the urinal and automatic soap dispenser didn't even work. It smelled like a cesspool and was a sight for sore eyes. I didn't go to the women's bathroom but I got a glimpse; half of the floor was missing.Don't get me started of the food and service. It was a Friday, and as any other restaurant, it was quite filled up. But remember, the place is small. There are, what, ten tables? More or less... We ordered appetizers which didn't come for AN HOUR. After that, our food came FORTY MINUTES LATER. And worst of all the waitress kept using the excuse that they were busy even though the restaurant is half the size of any Bob Evans. I also got a glimpse of the kitchen and it was very small. There was a small little girl that was stomping her bricks for feet past our table the two and a half hours we were there, and I was ready to sew her shoes to the carpet. She acted like she ran the place. And as for food quality, not too good. Definitely not worth the wait. Food was only warm, and barely had any taste. I got a strip steak and got a lump of fat covered in mushrooms. I spent three fourths of my dining with my fingers in my mouth ripping fat off of my steak. My coke tasted flat. To give you the shortest answer, you'd be much better off just ordering pizza. You'll save time and money. And probably a much better dining experience. The only good things about this place is they had a couple tvs with the news and they were loud enough to hear. They had both Coca Cola and Pepsi. The prices were very low, but as the saying goes, it's probably too good to be true.

I was pleased to be introduced to Romano's tonight. My family told me to disregard the outside appearance and go to enjoy the food. Excellent advice. The service was quite good, something I am finding more rare recently. The young ladies who waited in our table were friendly and helpful.I ordered a fish sandwich and order of wings. The wings were added as most fish sandwiches are not enough to fill me up. I should have stuck with just the fish. The sandwich was four large, 1 1/2" thick, pieces of fresh battered fish on a large bun. It was delicious. One of the best I have had. As reference, I live very close to the Pacific Ocean in Oregon. The wings were good as well, but I ate too much as a result. The owner, Kurt, came and spoke to us for several minutes, just chatting. If you are in the area and hungry, I can highly recommend eating here. Get over yourself if you need fancy rooms and come for the food.

A local favorite. Looks like a hole in the wall but that's because if it looked nice you would have to wait 2 hours for food. Best wings around. I haven't met one person that doesn't enjoy the food here. They don't open until 3. If it's your first time, stay close to the bathroom but you'll become immune to it soon. It's like America and a chicken had a baby. So plant the bomb at Romano's and your girlfriend will love you.
