Never again. Currently writing this review while waiting to start our back 9. I have time because they have 7(!) groups backed up waiting to tee off. Complete and utter mismanagement of a course. Get as many people (and as much money) as possible, who cares about the people traveling to your 27-hole course, right? Absolutely unacceptable.

Good course, went earlier in the day and played all 27 holes. I recommend if you want to play all 27 you let them know ahead of time. We played 18 and then decided to go for the last nine and it was a little tricky on their part they said. But they managed for us. It was a nice course and well-maintained.

Love the ambiance of this location. The club house/restaurant/ reception area is awesome. Everyone working there (front desk, snack stand, waitress, cart hander-outer and starter) were all very nice people. Food was great as well. If this review rating was for all the previous mentioned items, then I would have left 5 stars...but we came here to golf. As far as the course, we played North/South. It should go without saying this course is not worth $41 on the weekend with cart. Should go for 25 to 27 at most. First, the one positive....the greens are in decent shape...they could roll faster but they're not too beat up considering all the dry weather we have had. And the bad....If you are looking for a challenging round to test your skills....go somewhere else. There really is no rough...everything is mowed to almost the same height as the fairways....not sure why you wouldn't let the grass grow in the heat wave. If you like to play out of other people's fairways unencumbered then this place is for you. There is basically nothing in-between you and the green from any direction. Some trees but easily played around, one water hole, barely any bunkers, no dog legs, no multi-tiered greens, etc.....It is just boring. At least you can save on the number of clubs you need if you come here....all you basically need is a driver/wedge/Putter. Makes no sense....they have acres and acres of land....but they set up short/ straight / uninteresting holes one after another. I swear it is almost like playing a par three course....many of the greens are drivable and cause you to wait and wait and wait until greens clear to hit driver. So it goes to say, even though we finished in 4 hours, there was no good pace of play and it was consistent stop and go. Something else that does not make sense...but I believe they do it thinking it will quicken play on a weekend(just like the low or no-rough) all the tee boxes were up close. Reds, yellows and whites were all crunched close together. You'd drive by empty tee boxes to your tee markers. Cheating you out of playing 50-70 extra yards on a hole. It's a good starter course, or a good course if you want to pump up your ego or drop your handicap...but it's not going to make you think, or test your skills as a ball striker. Sorry, but we won't be back.

BP and I attended his cousin's wedding here and the venue was amazing. The wedding and reception were held in the main clubhouse (The Timberhouse) and the staff converted the room from aisle/church style seating to 20 dinning room tables in less than 20 minutes, it was amazing. The clubhouse was decked in Christmas decorations and the fireplace was roaring! I loved everything from the hardwood floors to the great service from all of the staff.Did not play any golf, though!

Great course and staff. Course is fun to play and usually doesn't get backed up. Highly recommended for golfers of all skill levels

Fun course to play. They have 27 holes, 3 separate nines, so always seem to be able to get on the course. Have some very challenging holes and a few short par 4's that long hitters go for the gusto but usually do not succeed! Seem to have lots of fun when playing RA.

Nice course and our League likes to play it a few times a year as it's fairly close. but yet this Sat another 5 hour round. no rangers in sight. Morons in front slowed everything even slower by claiming a broke down cart when it simply was not in gear.

While the course is fun to play, and the food is really good. The manager, Sam, is very rude, incompetent, and is not customer friendly. Avoid this course and restaurant at all costs!
