Dog friendly patio; amazing home made food. Such a relaxing patio atmosphere and a welcoming local interior. The sloppy Joe and and Reuben are one of a kind! Staff are lovely and welcoming! Don't miss out on the home made appetizers! We had the stuffed peppers. Seriously the food here is ridiculously good!

Honestly, not sure how to rate this one. First off, Rodney's is probably 80% bar and 20% restaurant. If I had to sit inside, I would not come here. The inside is basically a poorly lit bar with a few tables. The outside, however, is a different story. They have a very nice patio area, which is where I chose to sit this evening. I was surprised that the restaurant was mostly empty on a Friday night at 6:00. The waitress informed me that things don't get hopping here until after 9:00, when they have live music or a DJ. Again, this is mostly a bar. Onto the food. I had their messed up taters and their caprese BLT. Let's do the bad first. The BLT was a poor attempt. It was mostly lettuce with some sort of balsamic sauce. I could swear I also tasted mustard for some reason. Very little bacon. I think there was supposed to be mozzarella on the sandwich but I couldn't find any. Two stars. I would stay away from that one. Now for the positive - the loaded taters were absolutely delicious. Lots of cheese, both cheese sauce and shredded. Plus a nice helping of bacon. Can't believe I ate the whole thing myself. Here's why I'm giving this 4 stars - the whole meal cost around $15. You can barely get a fast food meal for $15 and this was way better. My Blue Moon drafts were only $5. I will come here again on a nice summer evening, enjoy their patio, get the taters and try something different for my meal.

Had a dive bar feel when you walk in, but staff is very friendly and food was surprisingly good. Patio area looks awesome in the summer.

Locals bar, NOT a pizza place. But the servers were all very nice and it's open late which is hard to find in the area.

Fabulous Reuben sandwich and the homemade potato chips are amazing!! Stopped for lunch on our travels but we will stop again!

Ha ha my husband had the meatloaf and said it was excellent. I had a chicken with onions mushrooms and provolone cheese over it, very good. Kayla was delightful to deal with. Made a good stop based on yelp reviews.

We ordered The Cuban sandwich and Chicken cordon bleu both with a side of house made chips. The food was great as was the service. We were traveling from Michigan to VA and this stop was well worth the 5 minutes off of Route 76. I would definitely go back again and I highly recommend.

I have wanted to try this place for quite a while and finally got the chance over Labor Day weekend. We had a couple of friends in town and we all love discovering local pubs and we're excited to finally try. First experience, almost getting mowed down by two idiots flying down the street in their ramped up imports. There is a nasty blind spot as you try to cross the road from the parking lot and luckily their cars sounded like wind up toys so we were able to jump out of the way before we saw them fly around the bend.Inside, there was a nice Sunday lunch crowd and we went up to order drinks. No wine....but the bartender did offer a seltzer drink. Opted for a shot of fireball instead. Then ordered a couple of vodka tonics, not a usual vodka drinker but didn't want a beer. Either she didn't put any vodka in it, or they water down their drinks. We asked for an extra shot and it STILL didn't taste like it had any vodka. One and done...not worth the price or the attitude of the bartender.Two stars are for the band that was playing out back! They were very good and very entertaining. The guys enjoyed a couple of beers and we enjoyed the music. A couple of locals that knew the band members seemed irritated that we took up space, and nearly knocked us over to grab our table as we stood up to leave. Rude. Like I said, we love finding local bars and are usually welcomed with happy faces, spend money, chat with the locals. Rodney's Corner is obviously content serving to the local population, and the natives don't like outsiders in their space.

I've been coming here since before the newest owner took over. He's made the place even better. The food is awesome the patio is big too. I love the cheesy hot wings they're unique and delicious. Bartenders are always nice and it's usually pretty busy. The only downfall is the bar area is small but the patio makes up for it.
