Riverstone Lounge & Grill

It has been a while, and I felt it appropriate to write an update. Since my last review, we've tried a good many other items on the menu. I want to give a special shout out for anyone needing a QUALITY, AFFORDABLE lunch. They often offer a $5 lunch special of either a Double Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken (or Spicy) Sandwich, Gyro, and a few other options with a mound of their fresh cut fries. All for $5. You can't beat it. And, its REALLY good. Also, we enjoy their Oktoberfest special menu they run. They also run other dinner specials that are worth checking out.Service has been continually great, as well.Give them a chance!

Food is mediocre quality. It would be great if they would keep their soups hot instead of microwaving them, making the center stone cold and the top layer molten lava. It's regular bar food. Nothing special. Service is usually good. We stopped going here when the owner decided to charge people for using their credit cards to pay. That is unprofessional and tacky. Just roll the fee prices into your menu like every other place does.

My beer came with a rotten lime, so rotten that the peel was even softmy salad came with sour blue cheese dressing, it was horrible, I never saw my waitress again to get different dressing, I had to ask another waitress. Then out comes the food, cold seafood bisque, a cold onion blossom, greasy tempura shrimp and seafood spaghetti. My husband did not receive his entree, we thought it would come eventually, in the meantime we sent our soup to get reheated.... it came back scalding hot, enough to burn the skin from your mouth, by now I am livid. It is not a customers fault if the soup you serve is cold, protocol is to serve fresh soup, but if you're going to heat it up, for heaven's sake, don't scald your customer. Still no entree for my husband. I gagged down the soup and greasy shrimp understanding that it was not going to get any better, still no entree for my husband, and no waitress either. She appeared behind the bar, he went up to ask about his entree, she told him they were out of it. He asked, of course, why didn't you tell me? Oh, I forgot. That was it, no apology, no offer of something else, no nothing.She finally came over to clear plates, still not offering anything, we asked for the check, when she brought it, she did let us know that she took the entree off.... well thanks a lot for the favor since we never even GOT the entree! Obviously this server was busy doing something else, as she could not deliver food in a timely fashion, she was horrible with no apologies, I will never go there again! It's a shame because it was during The Polar Bear Plunge and next year I will take my large group elsewhere.

Great local place to grab a good meal. Meals are priced right and are prepared well. All the burgers and sandwiches were great that I've had so far! This place should continue to do well as its the best value in the river valley!

Stopped in after hunting. Pittsburg steak salad, pulled pork sandwich and a few beers. Excellent. They have a lot of food offerings. Great chef from Louisianna. Noce and clean. Will stop more often.

The mussels appetizer wonderful, deep fried green beans amazing. My son had the deep fried fish, it was moist and the batter looked great.
