We bought tickets to Ritual House's Harry Potter Chef's Dinner for yesterday and we had such a fun time! You walk in and get sorted into a house via the Sorting Hat and get a glass of bubbly that corresponds to your house. You pick your seat from one of the seven tables (each with a detailed centerpiece that corresponds to one of the seven books) and the six courses of food and drinks begin! I thought the food was delicious and liked how they had a mocktail option for each course.I was really impressed by the level of attention to detail. From the intricate centerpieces to the floating candles and keys to the themed food and drinks, I thought it was well worth the money ($135 during their Black Friday sale + taxes and fees). I was so full that I ended up taking most of the last three courses of food home! The staff was super nice and accommodating. They did a great job accommodating my friend's seafood allergy and even hunted down a to go cup for my leftover Butterbeer mocktail. I really enjoyed everyone I interacted with yesterday night.

Ritual House restaurant and bar serves brunch, lunch, and dinner in a setting with stylish swings, flowers, and chandeliers--and if you are lucky, sparklers and cotton candy. My husband and I ate one dinner here for a late Valentine's celebration. The seating hostess, waiter, and chefs performed their jobs in a timely manner. Here are my ratings for what we ate:Strawberry Shortcake Mocktail - 4.5 stars - This mocktail contained strawberry syrup, coconut milk, and vanilla, and it had a strawberry chunk and cream around the rim. I enjoyed the sweet flavors.Deviled Eggs - 3.5 stars - These deviled eggs were piled high and were topped with smoked paprika and pieces of candied bacon. We liked the bacon but thought that the yolk could have been more flavorful. Crab Fondue - 5 stars - A richly delicious dip contained blue crab, goat cheese, and parmesan cheese. We used fondue forks to dip chunks of bread into this crab-cheese mixture. This appetizer was our favorite food that we ate here, so we recommend ordering it.Beef Short Rib - 3.5 stars - This short rib was a large size, had tender meat, and was accompanied by parmesan grits, onions, and carrots. It was covered with some burgundy-wine demi-glace, but I thought that it needed more seasoning for flavor. Seared Tuna Sashimi - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this entree, and it tasted very good. Slices of tuna were covered in sesame, togarashi, wasabi aioli, sweet soy, pickled ginger, and cucumber.Dessert Sushi Roll - 3.5 stars - This sweet dessert consisted of sushi-shaped lemon-vanilla sponge cake and lemon cheesecake that were filled with red-fruit gelee and passion-fruit gelee. On the side was blueberry syrup. The total price was $150 *plus* a tip. We did not think that the quality warranted the price, but I felt happy to try this restaurant.

We saw this restaurant while walking downtown and thought we'd try it out. The service staff were very friendly and accommodating. The upscale decor is surprisingly comfortable.I ordered beet salad where you can add protein, I really wanted the Nashville chicken, thought I'd ask, and they were able to do this for me, which totally made my dinning experience so incredible. This has to be one of the better beet salads I've had, thick wedges of multicoloured beets that were soft when biting into them. The dressing was a perfect accompaniment. We also ordered the salmon and slaw, which was a little smaller the portion size, but it was such soft melt in your mouth salmon with a very flavourful Asian well dressed slaw.I also ordered a side of fries which were crispy, and crunchy, the ketchup felt a little lighter than what I'm used to, I kinda like this light version better, not as sweet as the regular out of the bottle katchup. Over all very nice experience. Thank you to the staff in the kitchen, the hostesses and our waitstaff on this visit, you've made our visit to your city just that little bit more enjoyable.

I have waited weeks to write my review of Ritual House. I went on a Tuesday around 6pm with a coworker. We didn't have reservations and were still able to get seated immediately. We started with drinks (prosecco) and the spinach dumplings. The dumplings literally had no taste to them. I would definitely not order those again. For my entree I ordered the Teriyaki Salmon at the waitresses recommendation. It was okay- definitely more flavorful than the dumplings. I had decided at this point, should I come back that I would order something different. The restaurant is really expensive and you definitely want to like what you order for the price. When I got home I almost immediately started throwing up. This is not a normal occasion for me- I literally never throw up. I wasn't sure if it was the salmon that I ate. After feeling not great the entire next day I decided to write an email to the restaurant letting them know that I got sick after eating there. I did note that I wasn't sure if it was the salmon or just a coincidence that I had caught a stomach bug at the same time. Either way, I have waited weeks and the restaurant didn't have the courtesy to write me back. Never even said Im sorry that happened. Whatever! A confirmation that you received my message. For that reason, I will never be returning.

Such a beautiful place with nice swing chairs for the waiting area! Huge chandelier to make the ambience spectacular! They do have stairs when being seated but they have a handful of table where the hostess and waiting area on the first floor. We ordered some drinks but it took a while as they said they were having some computer issues and it shut down. Started with the smoked salmon! It was delicious but it didn't come with enough bagel chips so we ordered more and got charged for it. The ratio was as off! Food we order was the crab Benedict, chicken and waffles and Monte Cristo! They were all so delicious and cooked perfectly! I believe if you are celebrating a birthday or something they bring you out some cotton candy and a dessert. I asked for some cotton candy at the end and he brought some out for me! It's definitely got better since the first time I came when they first opened.

Whether you are here for lunch, dinner, or drinks, it is always a fun and unique experience here. The atmosphere is one of the best in the city. They have a lot of different and over the top signature drinks to start off with. For food, you can't go wrong with anything, but some of my favorites are the French onion soup, crab fondue, truffle fries (get a side of their house made ranch), Caesar salad, and Nashville hot chicken sandwich. Their burger is my favorite and one of the best in the city.

Downtown has so many hidden items that we never think are for the masses. What's mistake... The Ritual House Breakfast Brunch and Drink Menu is full of flavor options that tickle the pallet and promote another drink please. As Heather says " How can you go wrong with a place that has over 15 chandeliers over the bar. Service A+Food A+Lighting Perfect-Don shy away when asked for a reservation, they made us walk-Ins feel so welcome. Pull up and get in the Porch ( Porch Punch that is)Highly recommended to not pass up!!!!

Ritual House is so unique and so much fun! I went here for my birthday brunch and so glad i did. The restaurant itself is really beautiful and cool. From the decorations to the walls and the ceiling and light fixtures, everything is very eclectic and artsy. They also played really good music. Our waiter was really good. He knew the menu and suggested some really good choices. The food and drinks were really the star of the show. I would have loved to try the whole menu if i could. Everything sounded great and all of our food/drinks were delicious. I want to come back for dinner because that menu looks even better, especially the desserts! The most fun part of this experience was the cotton candy and cupcake they bring you for your birthday, along with one of those sparkler candles. It was just such a memorable and thoughtful experience!

Came in for brunch while visiting PGH. Cute spot - very very large. We were seated upstairs in a back room that took awhile to get back to. Their menu is super creative in my opinion. I had a hard time selecting a dish because everything did sound good. I didn't try any of the brunch cocktails but they all sounded interesting. I went with the crab cake Benedict. It was tasty! I will say they give you a lot of food, I was pretty full after eating just the Benedict. The potatoes could have been a little more seasoned for sure. My bf said his food was just okay. Overall I'd maybe come back for their dinner.
