I've played courses on 3 continents and this might actually be the worst one I've ever come across. Greens and tee boxes are decent, otherwise this place is a mess. Had to spend an absurd amount of time looking for balls 5 yards off the fairway- I'm all for punitive rough, but there's a difference between challenging and unkept, and this is definitely the latter. Progressing from hole to hole is a crapshoot, there's very little path to speak of.... absurdly overpriced at $40+ for a weekend round. I honestly felt robbed, and I was embarrassed to have brought a friend. Thought I'd give a place I hadn't tried a shot- that was my mistake. Save yourself the trouble and find somewhere else to play.

I was surprised to see a one star review. I took my son to Rittswood Golf Club last week. I felt that I got what I paid for. The greens and cart fees were fair. The course was in good shape. No water or sand traps come into play that I recall, but thats perfect for my 14 year old son. The course length and difficulty was good. The club house is minimalist, but has the necessities. The carts are gas and in good shape. We had fun. We only golfed the front 9, so I can't comment on the back 9. We would go back again.

No charm to this course. Cash only. Feels like summer camp in the club house. Hole numbers are on trash cans. Will not play here again unless I have to. Try birdsfoot for better public course in the area.

Great beginners course and it's nice and wide open. The distance is on par with some harder course but the layout is so wide open it will be hard to post a bad score. Great course to walk as well. Biggest drawback is the course is cash only.

On Fathersday, 2 of my brothers and 3 of our sons tried to golf a 2 man scramble together, and an old man, ranger I guess, just went off on us and proceeded follow us so we wouldn't tee off together. There was no one around us we were not holding anybody up. I think he just hates fathers day.

Course is fine, but staff and ownership have become very rude. Disappointing because we used to Golf there a lot. That said, there are 5 courses within 5 miles of this place. You can do better. Find a course that respects it's customers and appreciates their business. Won't go back and I don't think I'll miss it.

First off I would like to point out this review is barely 1 star solely because of the course conditions. The course had good greens with sub par tee boxes, and mediocre cut fareways. The reason this was so bad is the management. We called twice in one day to make sure we could drive carts and both times they said it would not be a problem, and both times they said we could drive if we had a license and 16. When we got there the lady told us we could not drive unless we were 18, not a problem to us if they had not told us on two occasions that we could drive. The lady at the counter also tried to blame this on a new girl working not knowing what to say, but that to me is just a fake way to say she did not train her properly. With us going out of our way to choose their course instead of the other 5+ local courses, it's disappointing she didn't try to make up for the inconvenience like a good manager would. Like I said the course was not bad, but the manager there seems to not have it down, and can't fix the mistakes she made. We as a group (4 golfers) never write reviews or go out of our way for something like this, but we were deeply angered by what we encountered today. Will not be returning.

Great golf course in an area full of choices. They always keep the course in great shape.. It has continued to improve over the years.. Some unique holes on the back nine.. The current owners are great people who truly care about and appreciate their customers.. And you cannot beat the price..
