Rio Verde Mexican Restaurant

I tried, I really did. I walked in excited because it looked like cantinas I'm used to back home. I should have known when they didn't have Jamaica or horchata, but I was craving Mexican so I ordered a margarita while I waited. The margarita came quick, but was somehow both terrible tasting and watery. The salsas were about the same. The hair I found in my salsa was the last straw. I paid for my drink and left. I hope others have had better experiences here.

A hidden gem in Sabraton. It looks like a little store front but is huge inside. The staff are wonderful people and the food authentic and homemade. The prices are unbelievable. This is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend

Very tasty standard Mexican fare in a strip mall - surprisingly good food and fine service. Chips and salsa to start were great, salsa had just enough spice. The margarita - meh, nothing to rave about. The Negra Modelo icy cold. The taco salad was very fresh and came with a large portion of tender beef. Chimichangas we're fried crispy and were good, particularly topped with guacamole and sour cream. A good option for Mexican food.

I was traveling through morgantown and i was looking on Yelp for places to eat and figured i could set a takeout order. I got chori pollo w no veggies and tortillas. It took so quick to be made AND i never seen a bigger bag of to go chips from any Mexican restaurant I've even been too!!! The salsa is phenomenal and fresh! The portions were excellent. The food is delicious. Would recommend to ANYONE in the area. Def will come back!

Omg! These people can freaking cook! The best Mexican in Morgantown! And possibly the tri state area because anywhere else I've been in the last 15 years doesn't compare by no means! They are very personal and just awesome people!

First, they were able to comfortably accommodate 15 of us. It was a big place and the ambiance was fun. Leo was our server and was so nice about giving each on their own bill. He and the other servers were great. The food was really very good! Tortilla chips and salsa abounded! Some of the best Mexican I've had. Definitely a place to eat at on a long trip or just for a great meal!
