Such. A. Vibe.Rib room was a total experience. Our waiter Andrew was very knowledgeable about Gluten Free menu options. I was able to have almost everything! Prime Rib & Truffle Fries located in a secret dining space hidden in the back of Meat & Potatoes

Perfectly consistent! The beef tallow candle for dipping bread was a delicious and creative addition. The service, food, and atmosphere are among our downtown favorites!

I recently went to the Rib Room for my best friend's birthday and we had such a pleasant dining experience! The atmosphere is so nice, intimate, private, and lux. The party next to us finished their meal and left shortly after we got seated so we had the whole room to ourselves! It was so nice! Our server Rob was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind.We had prime rib as well as a bunch of sides like Lobster mac & cheese and brussel sprouts.I loved the wine here, and it went nicely with my caesar salad as a starter. I will definitely be back!

It's a gorgeous room inside Meat and Potatoes dedicated to serve only prime ribs. Go there if you love prime rib because it's one of the best you can find anywhere. The service was amazing. Nice, friendly, attentive, and timely. The food was scrumptious. In addition to the prime rib, we ordered bone marrow and fries. I especially recommend not to forget the dessert. It's so tasty. Overall, we enjoyed dining in such a beautiful place with great service and amazing food. The price was very high but it was worth it.

Rib Room is a secret restaurant inside Meat and Potatoes in downtown Pittsburgh. It specializes only in prime rib. If you don't like prime rib you should not go to the Rib Room. With that being said, this might be the best prime rib I've ever had. My family and I started with a wedge salad and Caesar salad. They were fine, but generally a waste of time. We asked for the sourdough, which come to find out we didn't need because popovers were coming. However, the sourdough was excellent. Like I stated above, two of us had the prime rib and it was a 10/10. One of us isn't a prime rib fan and got the rigatoni alla vodka. They said it good, but do not get if you don't like a spicy/hot taste. We didn't get dessert, but the baked Alaska seemed to be a crowd pleasure. For the sides we had truffle fries and mashed potatoes, both of which we enjoyed but weren't mind blowing. The service was excellent and on point, but be warned this is an extremely expensive restaurant and should really be for a special occasion.

Literally the best prime rib I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had the "queen" size shown here (husband got a king cut). The restaurant is located directly behind the bar at Meat & Potatoes, which is sooo cozy (it gives speakeasy vibes). There are only 16 chairs, so it fills up quickly. Drinks are pretty pricey, but it's a whole experience here and well worth it. Most of the apps were also meat, which we thought was a bit much given what our entrees were, so we opted in for the fries as an appetizer and I SWEAR they are the best fries in the city (salty crispy shoestring!). We didn't have room for dessert, but it looked fab (baked Alaska). Can't wait to go back!

I've been to rib room now 4 times, each one special and just as good, if not better than the last. The coolest little speakeasy vibe of a space with some amazing food. The service is impeccable and you better save room for that baked Alaska. It's SO good! The rigatoni - has my heart. I love everything about this space, especially for a special occasion with someone you love!

This place was awesome! Brought my husband here for a date night / delayed birthday celebrating. The exclusivity of the Rib Room is awesome and feels like such an intimate experience. We have nothing but great things to say - the service was excellent, we loved the food, and the atmosphere. Definitely will be back! Excited to try Meat and Potatoes next time as well.

Finally!! In a city full of steak places, can't believe it took so long to create a prime rib restaurant. This small space is located in the back of meat and potatoes, and only has a few tables. Definitely worth checking out if you're a prime rib fan, perfectly cooked to medium rare with yummy horseradish, and au jus. Probably skip this if you're not a beef eater or prefer your beef well done, as this is a one entree menu. They do offer some of the best appetizers from the meat and potato menu, like the beef carpaccio, which has a nice Southeast Asian flair to it. If the lobster Thermidor is available definitely try it, recommend going on the earlier seating for your first experience to try this dish as they do sometimes sell out.

The room is nice and cozy. The server was attentive. Unfortunately the food was not good. The prime rib was cold and dry, did not taste high quality. Our prime rib was served and then about 10 minutes later our sides came out. The sides were truffle fries. I feel like the fries were frozen and the baked with truffle seasoning on it. The Brussels were almost burnt. It's too expensive to be sub par. Wish I would have gone to capital grill instead.
