Red Roof Inn New Stanton

I forgot to take any pictures but wanted to rate this hotel. We arrived around midnight and the owner/desk clerk was so ins and accommodating to us. He even brought us a roll away bed that he made himself. The room was nice, clean and quiet. I would stay here again.

The rooms are infested with bed bugs. We found some within an hour of our arrival, notified front desk but were told they need proof to switch rooms. Within 10 minutes we found another, put it in a bag and called again, yet denied a room change again as "we could've brought them" (...in our 1 bag that hadn't even been unpacked). Then we found a nest of about 10 along the bed skirt, finally we were given another room. We still spotted bed bugs in the new room.Upon check-out, they tried to charge us $250 in damages that were not there, they hadn't even inspected the room yet. Then they tried to lock us out with half my stuff still in the room, including my dog. I told them I would not pay $250 because there were no damages, so they called the police who also agreed there were no damages and allowed me to get the rest of my belongings and pet.Avoid this place, they will lie and try to extort you out of money that you do not owe.
