Preeti's PiTT

Met some family members here for happy hour before going to miniature golf. At first I wasn't sure if I would like it but it turned out to be pretty good. The fried chicken and catfish was amazing. Next time I'm in Pittsburgh definitely will go back. The drinks were really good not expensive at all and very strong.

So I've been here a few times on the weekend and waited before I decided to write this review. Overall: I like the overall design of the interior. There is seating along the wall, with high tables and low tables, as well as bar seating. The open kitchen concept is my favorite because you can see them cooking right in front of you. There are 3 TVs at the bar, and 3 along the side walll so you can watch a few games. There is also a jukebox available when the DJ is not playing.Food: Always delicious! The cabbage is made with smoke turkey and OMG it is flavorful. Mac and Cheese was nice and cheesy and adding the cornbread completes the meal, especially with the melted butter on top. Saturday Nights: They have a DJ playing the latest hits, food service on one side and bar on the other side. This place gets packed. Service can get a little backed up, but that's only because of the high demand for food and drinks.Sunday: My absolute favorite time to go. It's more laid back and not too crowded. The DJ plays 90s R&B at night and they have SoulFood Food specials until 12:30a.

My go to place for a chill environment to have some drinks. I've been here a few times and each time I visit, the service is great. There's usually a DJ when I go, but if not, there's still a juke box. (One of those fancy touch screen ones!) So all of that is well and good... but... the food! The food at preeti's does not disappoint. If i go out with friends, my fiancé demands that I bring him home wings whenever I come to preeti's and rightfully so. The wings are hot, crispy, and flavorful. They also have amazing fresh cut fries. The servings are generous so you definitely can share with others (if you're not feeling greedy lol). Preeti's is nothing fancy, but if you're in the mood for a chill neighborhood bar, then this is a place for you! Sidenote- they also have a room in the back that you can rent for parties... FYI!

The food was delicious and the service was good. The restaurant is a cute little spot. Granted it was a Tuesday night but the accommodated a party of 12 fairly easy. We were able to put our tables together and enjoy a great meal with good company. I ordered the whiting with fries and it was good. I love a good fried fish. It was seasoned well and came out hot. I appreciated it. I would definitely go back if ever in Pittsburgh.

Lets start with the good...I've been here several times and Pretti's has some of the best wings in the Burgh!! I just wish they put as much effort in the quality of service as they do the food. The bad: 1. Last time I came to eat security was outside at the door checking purses...but it's 6pm on a Tuesday?! Do your patrons get it poppin' this early in the day during the week?! Do I need to be concerned when I eat here? What message does that send to patrons that have never been to your establishment? 2. Anytime I've come to either place an order or pick up, I'm always waiting at the counter for at least 5 minutes before anyone addresses me to take my order or just simply greet me (including the Owner). 3. Now apparently they've implemented a new policy when using a credit/debit card that you must spend $25?!? ....but this is a bar...I'm good love.

We stopped in to Preeti's PiTT tonight after talking with a friend who had just been there and suggested it. First off, Yelp has dropped the ball on this one. I searched and found the misspelled business with only 2 reviews. I don't know how that's possible, I think it's just been hard to find? Let me tell you about our first, and definitely not last, experience...First off, their kitchen is open until 12am on a Wednesday. If you live near the city and have tried to find food after 9pm during the week, you'll appreciate that statement. Second, the entire staff is super friendly and helpful. We had a couple of drinks while we waited for our order to-go and had a great time talking with the bar tender, Danielle. Third, THE FOOD! We ordered a dozen Ranch Dry Dusted wings, a Rodeo burger, and Mac & Cheese. Oh, my. The wings were perfect. I'm talking crispy, crunchy, perfection. A side of the house sauce somehow brought them up another level. A+. The Rodeo burger had thin, crispy bacon and a BBQ sauce with a good bit of sweetness. We went for the banana peppers which balanced it out with some sour. Fan-f*ing-tastic. Fries were great, very fresh... and the Mac & Cheese... that was made with some love. Everything I wanted from mac & cheese and more. I'm impressed and can't believe it's taken us 6 months to find them.

Service was terrible- stopped in for a quick drink- there was no drink menu so we ordered 2 beers. They cameIn bottles- no glasses- which is fine. Then we asked to cash out and the waitress didn't hand us a bill- just told us the total was $18... for 2 beers(not fancy beers, we ordered 2 IPA's). We got ripped off for sure which is a shame because it looked like a cool place.

This is the best place on earth. It's truly heaven sent. The service is amazing. The food is amazing. I took a friend to this place and he cried happy tears because he said it's the best food he ever ate in his life. The food is so flavorful. I never been disappointed. I highly recommend this place to everybody. I'll marry every meal on the menu. I guarantee you won't have a favorite meal you will want to try everything on the menu. Everything is really THAT good. It's always a good vibe good music all around a good time. Please after reading my review go treat yourself to preetis! And take a friend you will not be disappointed

1st time there for brunch and the food was delicious. I had fried lobster tails and fried shrimp with grits and everything was too my liking . The music was great and I enjoyed myself .
